What would you choose, a PC or an Apple Computer? Note to everyone that this is a comparison for gaming, not overall status. Also, tell me what you think of each for gaming on browser games, and games from a disk (i.e. Rome total War, Command and Conquer 3, World of Warcraft...) both online and offline.
My 2 sentence example:
I personally would choose a Pc. PC's are more compatable with most games. Before windows could run on Apple Computers, PCs were mainly more compatible with game because PCs had programming software to make even the most basic games.
i like pcs they have two mouse buttons insted of one and they can play more games like half life uses two mouse buttons so does portal and team fortress 2 so you cant play those on macs.

Well actually on Apple computers like my friends laptop you press Ctrl+Click to right click. But the Mac OS isn't actually compatable with with most games like those. Definition of OS
Bottom line, there is no reason to purchase a Mac if you want to game. There is no reason to purchase any prebuilt computer if you are going to game because of how much cheaper it is if you build it yourself. Not to mention you can choose components that aren't garbage quality. And 3rd party cases are just so much sexier. Mmmm... LEDs...
I'll never go back to having a PC, but for gaming purposes I suppose they are better, because more games are made for them. But Macs are so much easier to use once you get used to them...
And for flash games/browser games, there's no reason to prefer PCs.
I do miss being able to play Portal, but besides that I am perfectly satisfied with the games I can play. I'm more about drawing than gaming anyway. :P
For gaming? Mac's are not equipped for gaming. Plus, a lot of new titles are PC specific. Meaning, if you bought a Mac up to gaming standards, you would still need Windows to play them. Plus, you can get a decent gaming PC for about $1,000, while a gaming Mac is around $3,000 and up.
