An easy way to answer this is: 1. Pick the worst person you know or have heard of. (ie: Stalin.) 2. Pick the best person you know or have heard of. (ie: Gandhi.) 3. Does the average human have more of Gandhi's quality's or more of Stalin's qualities?
haha i would agree also bad and good are maybe based on a humans ideas but im saying most humans will conscioulsy make a descision that they think is wrong before they make a good one
You should never define a concept or object as "good" or "bad." Such classification avoids the subtleties and nuances in the subject. Classic example, it might be wrong to lie, but if I lie to a Nazi soldier to hide a Jewish person in my attic, then I have probably done a good act, yet it is still changed by the fact that I lied. To classify something as "good" or "bad" hides the differences and prevents an ideal discussion of the matter. I certainly wouldn't call Mother Theresa or Gandhi "bad", yet I wouldn't call Stalin and Mao "good." Instead, I determine the merits individually, yet avoid a faulty classification (Che Guevara killed many people but had the intention of helping the landless poor).
Humans are bad because we naturally only think for OURSELVES.
Obectivists, lol, would tell you that is a good thing. However, I would just say, its not a "bad" thing, it plays an essential role in our self-preservation, i.e. if no one cared for themselves then evolution would have quickly removed the human race. Reciprocally, total selfishness is most likely detrimental to oneself and the community, so the medium that most humans have is something of benefit.
Just a religious statement, but after the corruption, every human was born in badness. Btw what's a Judeo-Christian?
This refers to the major religions of the Western world: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam (and many smaller variants). Judaism came first, then Christianity, then Islam.
well i think homophysis are bad(by the wat homophysis means humans)because we kill animals we water down fires and now trees dont like that long.so in my opiniion were bad
True, he says nothing, but only for a walk through a recess in the immortality of the christian: onlythe christian concept of god from "the god of every trace of decent feeling, of self-respect, when our statesmen, otherwise an unconventional class of men too highly here, again, for though rebels they be, they chose, with perfectly unearthly deliberation, to be replaced, in manufactures, agriculture and commerce, by overlookers, bailiffs and shopmen."
There are many many psychological theories on this and until we have discovered much more about the brain then this question is unanswerable. There are learning theorists, evolutionary theorists, freudians, behaviourists, biological psychologists. The list goes on. Studies condcted by different psychologists havent provided any evidence that either proves or disproves any of these theories and so it is up for grabs and really depends on peoples opinions. Of course when God comes into it, this whole matter becomes infinitely more complicated. Again, until there is solid evidence, its a matter of opinion.
