I did find resident evil 3 scary at the age of 7 but I found Bioshock quite scary at the age of 15 so I would say it is Bioshock as the dark adds tension and then the enemies jumping out of nowhere adds shock.
Dead Space. have you ever played that game, it is the most demented game there is. I could not finish it on normal. the Guy who does art concept is messed up, nothing compares to it. On a related note the animated movie of it was great
haha, eternal darkness was fantastically scary, and i havent had a chance to play fear, but ive seen small parts and i could imagine it being creepy. Dead Space was nuts, but i think the scariest game ive played was Doom 3 and the expansion...that made me jump more times than i could count, and i even more times than that was i crouching and walking 2 miles a day around corners and dim lit hallways...not to mention you cant shoot and use your flashlight at the same time play Doom 3 if you get the chance...it could maybe be nightmarish creepy...but you have no anticipation whatsoever...its sooo awesome
Nothing can compare to Dead Space it is incredibly scary with great detail, especillay when you play at 2 AM and you are really tired nothing can show that game up, F.E.A.R., Bioshock and Resident Evil 4 come nowhere close.
