Well I don't want any graphic responses, but you know to me it seems like they should be classified as prostitutes. One may say that they aren't because both parties are payed, I think this makes them qualify in the area of double-hookerdom. Anyone else?
no, pornography in its own way is an artform, many people do not have the ability to become a pornstar because there are "specific requirements". i class as more of a job because you are doing something you enjoy and are getting payed for. My freind jack tried and failed because he didnt reach the requirements set. Ive been ripping on him ever since. XD
I know a pornstar and they get paid 100-4000 dollars a film. So im not sure how much a prostitute makes in one sitting but i doubt it is more
wont ask how you know her. but see pornstars dont get called for every film. they only get called some of the times so they may earn even 5000 but only in 2 or 3 months. Prostitutes i think aim higher than that. They probably earn $500 a day and work 5 days a week(enjoy the other days). so like $12500 a month (This is assuption and not a fact)
Prostitute: to offer indiscriminately for sexual intercourse especially for money
I would actually question this definition given the insights of those who would identify with being in the prostitution business.
It seems that the essential part of the definition would be "selling sex as service for monetary compensation". As to whether it is indiscriminate, I know that certain prostitutes would refuse to do certain things. It should be clearer that the "indiscriminately" as stated in the Webster dictionary refers to the clientele.
One doesn't have to produce porn for any compensation. Thanks to the internet there's a huge market ("amateur" for the general public to produce their own porn.
Though it really should go without saying that you should be careful who you flaunt your bits etc. to.
No, adult film actors/actresses are not prostitutes. Though, depending on the star in question, many are down for that sort of thing, so they'd be both; they are not one and the same, however.
This has been brought to my attention by Zophia , so much of the time I will post something and then right after, realize that there was more I needed to say.
Well they are definitely similar to a certein extent!
But you see...if your a prostitute..your selling you body to someone you might not even know! Without anything in preparation.
But a Pornstar...They dont sell their bodies...they sell what they are DOING to their bodies..and in pornography sometimes you get a director and/or maybe a choriographer funnily enough :L Pornography is planned out and isnt like random things...
