wroking out, or growing at all?

muscle is heavier than fat. If he was working out he should have gotten heavier. then again these changes don't happen in a day. Most likly it was some kind of water weight in combination of a faulty scale

true, but while it is forming, it BURNS alot of the fat and ater, and you actually lose weight, then re-gain it.

Yeah true, I think it could be worms, they'll be eating away at all your food you eat and carbs.

you're probably growing, and through that phase, your body eats up a lot of pounds for compensate for your growth...besides, your are 12 right?

hey, i eat a looooooot of food, i dont even gain pounds, yet im not worried, im actually glad i loose pounds and this has been happening to me since im 13.

but now i think my teenage metabolism is slowing down...booohooo...

just eat a loooot of food, if you're saying you only eat probably 1 burger per meal or something that size, i dont think that'll work, i eat much more than a burger per meal :P

usually worm infestation would be a result of your stomach enlarged, but your body's still skinny... but if you really think you weight loss is really not normal (20 burgers per meal and still loosing pounds), then you should definitely call the doctor...
