LOL nice. Anyways the best shooters I've played (not many modern ones) would be TES: (Want me to say Oblivion?) MORROWIND seriously it's easier to mod but by way of general gameplay Oblivion is good to. Half-Life 2, Left for Dead, The Killing Floor (spooky), and CS: S are also great games. Most of them will introduce you to the wonderful world of Steam. Steam offers insanely cheap items (HL2 DM for $5 and such) and many mods (such as about 6 stand-alone-seeming games for HL2 DM, that's 7 games for $5). HL2 DM and CS: S (Half-Life 2 Deathmatch and Counter-Strike: Source I forgot to mention) are also mappable if that's a word. Theres also Team Fortress 2. But enough about my salesmanship, GunZ, Combat Arms, and Soldier Front are all free if you have no cash on hand.
Have you tried any of the Call Of duty Games, even number 2 is really good but 4 is my favourite. Cant wait for 6!! Um i play a free multi player only shooting game called Crossfire And i think that's pretty fun.
Maybe Call of Duty series,Counter Strike 1.6 or Counter Strike:Source,Half Life series,Battlefield series,F.E.A.R.,Crysis,Crysis:Warhead. They are all good First Person Shooters.
Fallout 1+2, its kind of a shooter. And for others id say RE4 if you mod it and get some user created textures for environment it looks really nice. Hitman Games are also quite fun. And Halflife series is also great
