the game is awesome, plenty of my time was spent on it. hated the show though.

Not really many people or geeks buy thier cards, t-shirts, movies,DVDs, and watch thier movie series. I say they are a sucess for all that moola.

love the old stuff, new stuff not so much just like yu gi oh!

Heart Gold & Soul Silver should bring back some memories and the spin-offs are interesting, but it's not anything special.

I just like the fact that every new game released gets more and more detailed. They should just continue with the classic series, rather than sub-pokemon games like Mystery Dungeon, because that is a rip-off from Izuna, and Pokemon Ranger, because it has absolutely no pokemon action whatsoever.

If the next generation pokemon game is 3-D with horribly-drawn characters like in the gamecube, then I'm officially done with Pokemon forever. I realize the fact that art and graphics a game does not make, but it comes to a point when it DOES make a difference.

i used to like pokemon but that was in 2nd grade then i thought whats the point in pokemon its really weird is what i think it is and most people that like pokemon are beetween the ages of 4 and 7

the cartoon is rubish , but i dont hink id say the game is a fail- i used to play it queite a lot when i was younger and it was really fun

Pokemon is a major fail game that shouldn't have been as successful! But the picture you posted really has nothing to do with it ha ha.

Finally the thread of my dreams, although I'm sure it will get locked. Pokemon sucks! I hate that game! That's what I think, I know I can't convince anyone else to join my Pokemon hating cause unless they already hate it. So yeah I rest my case.

I loved it back in like 1st grade the games were great but it got all screwed up with the ds and crap but whenever I take like a 12 hour car trip I sometimes play my old ruby version just for the heck of it

I thought the games were pretty good up until the GBA versions. I didn't like the show all that much. I used to play the card game, but I dropped that for MTG.

first series of pokemon anime = WIN
current pokemon anime series = FAIL
older pokemon games = WIN
newer pokemon games = somewhat FAIL

anyways your partially right about it being a fail.

Pokemons a great game and the whole idea of catching so many just seems daunting but will make sure you explore every part of the game. normally the only people who hate the pokemon games are people who just cant put the time or effort into them or just hate having to level up. the show not so great. the concepts kinda strange though. although it my be fun to catch living creatures inside size shifting red and white ball things.

anime itself is a major fail

The Pokemon games are amazing, even though the newer Generation of Pokemon aren't that great. The show, however, went downhill when Ash's voice person went through puberty. Even though I'm too old for Pokemon I'm looking forward to the remakes of Silver and Gold, cause I LOVE Silver and Gold. 2nd Gen was my favorite.
