Theres a big sandstrom where i am!

Its the first one ive been in.Its awesome cuz i get to stay home.AND the skys RED!

(I live in nsw, Australia) This is awesome.

Sandstorms rock! Don't be out if it gets too hardcore though, 'cause then it really hurts.

Sandstorm? We don't get those in the US, or at least not where I live (mid east).

How long do they usually last? (I know, I could use Google...but that's not as interesting)

I almost had a tornado once here in Cal. It was a "funnel shaped cloud that almost touched the ground." mixed blessing I suppose...

well in El Dorrado hills ( think near the capital Sacramento, in the central Valley) Its a fairly flat place with some hot temperatures.
It was on the news all over the State.

My town is in a small dip, so tornadoes tend to form around the city but not in =D

I've been caught in a dust devil before... I was just getting outta school, and the wind caught up, I was walking home, and I didn't know what happened, but something like this just surrounded me, and I ended up coming home with a few scratches, and dirty hair.
