Does any one else miss the old times? When points didn't matter, and fun and playing games was what this site was all about? I do, and i miss them. people just want points, and they spam and don't have fun.

all the people spamming and what not and not trying to have fun was one of the reasons why i quit. this might be my first post in about 5-6 months. probably longer. i can see that things havent really changed that much, theres still spam every where.

They is spam everywhere on the Internet. I don't get how you could complain when you only have like 300+ forum posts.

He earned about 2500 AP in one day, a feat unmatched. Not that it would be nice for AG if it got matched...

That's a lot of spam.

I never really was around to miss the old times, but from what it sounds like, I would hate to see it go away and turn into
this

The structure of your sentence is self contradictory.

I haven't really noticed much of a difference sure I had more friends before but I would like to think of it in a positive way. I beleive AG has matured in a positive way.

But Yeah I'm only a year old on here so I wouldn't know much xD

A year is all that it takes to change.

That's a lot of spam.

Mostly mass profile commenting.

there are probably very few that can do that now. and if anyone tried they would most likely be spamming.

You can make 2500 AP and not spam. Would you REALLY want to work that hard in one day though? XD

I probably average...20? I need to get interested in the boring WEPR threads more lol

I bet I could do it if I was online for an entire day. It would be very hard though

I remember when trolls where nothing but a legend to us.

What trolls? xD

But seriously, I still waft around internetland and can safely say that AG remains one of the "nicest" active online environments. We come down pretty hard on antisocial behaviour, so the 'trolls' that do stay here at least tend to be more funny rather than plain rude.

This, at least, has not changed.

Still, you don't like trolls.
I've seen more then a fair share of them.

Maybe if you didn't bump the thread, someone else would have noticed it. Not supposed to bump threads, even if you noticed it was alive

Some trolls are borderline unrecognizable as trolls, and typically hide behind a genuine facade, only revealing their inner workings when they feel like it, and even then, the trolls are very subtle.

Those are the trolls websites need. The keep everything from stagnating too much.

This, at least, has not changed.

And so long as you guys keep warding them off, it will remain so. One slip up and the forum can go into chaos. Well, it'll have to be a big one, but still.

Compare this to the playlist forums. Supposed to be an "all audiences" forum about music essentially, yet they have inappropriate account names and have expletives left and right. naaaaughtyyy.

True, but I hated those random days where trolls invaded the forums and post obscenities in almost every topic I visited...

I don't know WHAT the problem was back then... probably some Kongregate haters that flamed the site since we had unofficial Kongregate wars that were user made back then.... Those images they found...I never looked at chicken the same way again...

The thing that astounded me the most is that they came and attacked the site when there were no mods OR admins around! They couldn't have come at the best of times...

When was this, early to late '09? Good, and sometimes horrible times...
