*scratches head* Better graphics? I don't think WoW has it better, I think they are the same, really. But I personally like Warcraft better. Warcraft III to be exact. It's what Warcraft was meant to be; commanding units to destroy the other units' bases, not commanding a single unit.. It's just not right.

I like both games equally. Warcraft (I, II, and III) are strategy games that are both challenging and fun to play. WoW is an mmorpg that is both challenging and fun. Its kinda hard to compair them though as there are two totaly different types of games.

First of all... there's a Warcraft III ?!? I completely missed that one... I really have to go check on that!

Well, I only played Warcraft I and II and can say that these are two (already) epic games in my opinion! The whole graphic build up and playability of those games were simply awesome! Be advised: I AM talking about the early 90's of course...
I even got to play the german version of Warcraft II and they somehow have the voices, of both Knights and Orcs, better suited for the characters... It completed the whole game! Playing the game made me a little insomniac after a week... =)

And WoW... honestly... I shielded myself to try out the WoW version, since I know myself and I would for sure get completely lost in it (read hooked/addicted/brainwashed) and that's why I can't actually compare the two versions...

But to give a (little dis-honest) vote: Warcraft II

WoW is multi-player and has a more dynamic play style than the Warcraft games. I vote World of Warcraft.

They are the same game to me, but I'll go with Warcraft because it isn't that overrated.

I prefer Warcraft, simply because it's an RTS.

I tried playing on a guy's WoW account when my family went over there. I had no idea what the buttons did (hey look! lots of skills!)

Then i got into a battle

*Hey look a guy is raining ice on me and has a tiger thingy!*

*I die*

Then I dunno how to respawn...

Currently, I like RTS mroe than MMORPG.

I better like warcraft 3, it a strategy game. and wow is just a character running.

First off, it doesn't steal lives
Second off, it doesn't steal money
Third Off, you can play DOTA via Warcraft III

warcraft, wow is just lame man its for nerds..

warcraft ||| owns, wow sucked and when i played it i got extremely pissed off. how could people spend their lives playing that. i am a mmorpg guy but honestly i hated that game

WC3 actually allows you to MAKE your own game that people can download, host, and play. plus you don't hear to many jokes about people playing WC3 unlike WoW

I guess I have to say Warcraft. A little less than a year ago I would have said WoW.
I just got bored of WoW, but I can still keep playing Warcraft over and over again. I don't really miss WoW.

I despise them both, but having to choose: WoW. It has no DOTA.

WC 3 is way better than WOW.
WC 3's battle.net option rocks and you can also make your own games.
wintermaul is one of my favourites :P

Any game to me is better than WoW. Well, any game of that genre anyway...
