Ok long story short. I hurt my knee really bad at a soccer game. I got a mri today and the results were bad. I tore a few ligaments and fractured my patella. I will see a specialist on monday. The my current doctor did say i will go under surgery, i just need to see this specialist first. I need all ps3 owners to help me. I need recommendations of a few games. I currently have metal gear solid 4 and little big planet. I would like to have at least one multiplayer game(slit screen) and one really amazing single player game. Thanks guys! I don't quite understand how the knee story is relevant to your PS3 troubles. Are you planning on using it during surgery? That sounds painful to me. What will you do with the multiplayer game? Invite a guy in to play with you while you're having surgery? I don't think he would want to watch that.
A PS3 seems like it may obstruct the surgery. Am I just misinterpreting this whole thing?

anyway dafufinator. a game that would be nice for the PS3? singleplayer wise, I'd say Uncharted 2/infamous/ and if youre willing to wait a bit, god of war 3. multiplayer wise probably battlefield bad company 2 or warhawk.
Multiplayer - Modern Warfare 2 or Battlefield Bad Company 2. Nuff' said. MAG is another option but is difficult to get he hang of, if you have a mic though it rocks.
Single Player - Oblivion, you can put loads of time into this game. I would recommend Dead Space as it is amazing and cheap now, but it doesn't have a long playtime and you only need to play it 2-3 times to get everything.

I'd recommend old PS2 games over PS3 games. GTA III may be a great choice, even though it's rather old, you'll probably get addicted to it quickly. And, since it's an old and outdated game, you'll probably be able to find it at a low price.

Uhhh, this is not ordered on how much I rate them, simply on when I thought of them:
1. COD 4 - Just cool 2. Battlefield Bad Company 2 - probably one of the best shooters around at the moment. 3. Unreal Tournament 3 - fast action 4. MAG - massive online shooter 5. GTA - it's GTA 6. Just Cause 2 - fun action with miniguns, grappling hooks and parachutes 7. Prototype - gore!!! 8. Dante's Inferno - not amazing, read below 9. God of War III - because crazy beat 'em ups with demi-gods is always fun 10. Uncharted 2 - I personally haven't played it, but it got very good reception from the PS3 community 11. Assassins' Creed 1/2 - too repetitive for my liking but got good scores and ratings 12. Oblivion - about the best RPG you can get on a console 13. Fallout 3 - Post-Apocalyptic RPG by Bethesda, how can you go wrong? 14. White Knight Chronicles - wasn't amazing but it was fun for a while 15. Dragon Age: Origins, party-based RPGs, how old-school 16. Heavy Rain - once again, haven't played but PS3 community enjoyed it 17. the latest final fantasy - looks pretty cool 18. Bioshock 1/2 - these games weren't great IMO but many people enjoyed them 19. Bordelands - overall pretty dull but fun whilst it lasted. 20. F.E.A.R - FFS, this was simply fun. Not because the gameplay was great but the setting and environment was really well executed.

Well I have to say i'm not buying a pos xbox 360. You have to pay monthly for online and the ps3 has blu-ray games which hold more and you have better quality in gaming.
Ok, saw the doc today. He said i tore my mcl and broke my tibia. I'm going to have this whole week off. I'm going to get a few games tomorrow. thanks guys for all your help!!!
