When did Gears become a FPS? and CoD is like a disease, It wont die. Funny thing is all the games you list in the title....i dont like, ive played and beaten them. But i dont like them. I still enjoy me some Unreal Tournament
how do you own an xbox or ps3 and not know what bioshock is. bioshock was the origanal that got game of the year i think 2007, bioshock 2 was its semi decent sequel that came out a few months ago. not as good but fairly decent
mw2 is for newbys so i guess its ok. but if you wanna get pro at shooters play counterstrike. thats probably the best one available for you because most xbox games arent very pro. call of duty 4 is also for pros but i dont think youll like it cause youre playing mw2

Just to add to that, the sequel like the original had one of the most immersive storyline and incredibly good game-play. Also, the original (i.e. Bishock) won 60 Game of the Year awards.
Thinking of getting Alien Vs. Predator 2010. That looks pretty cool. I've played a bit of it and it's probably worth the money. Wouldn't mind being a Predator one bit. Predator is far more awesome than Alien.
