Alien vs Predator 2010 seems so awesome! I think I might get it, the demo is mad good as you guys said earlier. I think maybe the demo is really good, but the game isn't as good... Eh, who knows.
after looking through my 5 year collection of game informer and i have finally found the issue with the AVP review
heres what they had to say about it.

concept three different campaigns and several full featured multiplayer modes provide plenty of content for those who can put up with the rest of the game.
graphics if lighting was better and the enviorment a little more detailed, AvP's atmosphere could have been more moody. as it stands, its just plain.
sound listening to the aliens crawl through vents and jump out at you would be scary if your motion sensor wasnt constantly bleating in your ear the whole time.
playabillaty poor melee combat results in a few frustrating, but the poor AI keeps things relitivley easy. good thing these marines never figured out how to look up.
entertainment the origanal aliens movies changed film forever, but this ggame is more derivative than a straight-to-video steven segal movie

so it looks like this game had what it took to be a good game but i jsut failed becasue of poor game makers
Ahhhh, don't get me started on Infinity Ward. They are n00bz. For some reason when I play MW2, Infinity Ward thinks it's okay to put my against level 60 people on their 6th prestiege when i'm like level 20. Hahaha, I always get destroyed because everyone I go against is an animal tank with a 1.5 kill/death ratio... It gets me mad...
infinity ward has experience in game developing though so they could have pulled it off. activision could have also but i dont think thats there suit of game
2.5? Jesus Christ! That's incredible... I used to play shooting games only on the computer, then my first xbox FPS was MW2... I got good fast, though. When I started getting good I went like 20 and 10 almost every game.
Mw2 is so much better anyways! Well I can't really say that because I never played Mw1. You would think it was better because it came out later. Would you recommend me buying Mw1 or renting it or? I do have Xbox Live, so I can play online.
I dont see why everyone says cod4 is better then mw2 mw2 has alot more people playing it and is generally better in my opinion i still own at both though ( not trying to be big headed)
becasue cod4 doesnt have the glitches and other programming problems that mw2 has. we all expected mw2 to fix and perfect the few glitches that cod4 had and instead it got worse
yes it does lol. there was the javilin glitch, there were not one but TWO care package glitches, theres the wall glitch in wasteland, there were the elivator glitches on maps like karachi, there was the model 1887 glitch.
i mean ya cod4 has glitches too but they are very minor and do not need to be patched becasue they arent being abused like mw2's.
just the fact that you made a game with a new glitch every month is insane its almost like a beta instead of an actual game
