All I do is I try to find something really entertaining to do that will keep me occupied for hours and after that ends I play games watch TV. I have never actually pulled an all Nighter but I have gotten close.
i watch tv, read a book, play games, go out and travel with a flash light and a pocket knife through the forest...it gives many things to do to keep you away from sleep. and i mean not coffee or energy drinks.
Caffeine should do it. Also make sure you have something to do.
If you're with friends, have some friendly fights. For 12 hours.
But make sure you go to bed on time the next night. Or you'll be totaled if you're not used to it. Which their might be something wrong with the way you're living if you are used to it . . . .
I was talking about how caffeine doesn't affect me at all, most of my friends are IB, so no time to stay up all night lol, it would be kinda weird if you were used to that.
If I want to stay up all night, I just play war games, watch a stupid movie, and drink a ton of soda. I generally have a bad headache the following day though.
Not coke or PCP. Guarana I believe it's called. It's full of caffeine (like, a freaking lot) as well as other stuff. They put it in some kinds of energy drinks.
I've only pulled off an all-nighter three times. Each time I only managed just over 24 hours. First time, when I was 9, I played Unreal Tournament all night with a couple of Dutch friends with no aid whatsoever. Just sort of sunk into the game and forgot about tiredness or fatigue. Didn't feel to tired either but I had a really nice sleep afterwards.
Second time I played RuneScape all night with the help of some more Dutch friends, Irn Bru (a Scottish soft drink filled with caffeine, supposedly great for curing hangovers) and Relentless (an energy drink with a really cool design).
The third time I couldn't get to sleep because there was a large spider near my door and I suffer some quite severe arachnophobia so couldn't get off to sleep at all.
You just need something that'll keep you entertained, a game, some movies, mates - whatever, and something that will actually hold back tiredness like coffee. It's not a great feeling though when the caffeine wears off and you've turned off the game. :|
Many of you guys need ridiculous amounts of caffeine to survive, I see.
Pulling all nighters is something I can accomplish without much difficulty. I did one the day before yesterday. Stayed awake until noon. I didn't feel tired at all. No, I didn't take any caffeine.
Just pulled one. Or rather, it's 5.40 am, and I think I will go to bed, considering the sun is rising, and my alarm clock with start in an hour and a half. Apparently having a cold, having someone to argue with and having a strict deadline that you have procrastinated yourself too close to helps a lot. No caffeine, but I did munch a lot of sun flower seed.
