This section is for products of YOUR creativity. Art, music, stories or poetry. If you want to showcase your works, or need critiques or feedback, this is the section for you.
General guidelines:
- All works must be your own.
- Discussions on musicians, authors and artists should go in the Popular Media Section.
- Please remember that the forum rules count here too. There are things like picture spam.
Art guidelines:
- Pictures should have the maximum width of 660 pixels. If the original is larger, please use a thumbnail and link to the large one.
- All references, brushes, renders, textures and generally everything you haven't made yourself, should have its source cited/credit the creator.
Writing guidelines:
- In case of a larger story, please post a link to it instead of posting it in the thread.
This goes for everything:
- Please remember to credit creators of characters you might use in your works.
- The works must follow the rules, and please keep it pg13. Explicit gore, death, sex scenes and swearing is not tolerated. If you must share it with the community, post a link instead, warning of the content, but generally keeping it clean is to be preferred.
- Critiques and feedback should be polite, and, if possible, offer suggestions on how the work could be bettered.
- The rules count here too. Please elaborate opinions to make them worth the space/read.
-Stolen works should be reported to a moderator. Do not comment on it, it is often less than worth it.
No. Absolutely not. Video game fanfic is obviously not fanfiction of any kind whatsoever. I am utterly shocked and appalled that you would have the gall to suggest such. I cannot have possibly made an oversight.
Jeesh strop, calm down man! Or... ninja horse dude that' super freaking awesome (trying to earn some points with that one. not AP. You know what I mean xP)
i want to post a story i created for school and its about 7-9 pages. seeing as this is too long to post on a thread, i was wondering if you guys know where i should post it online so i can link it in my thread
Create a thread, or find one for the purpose, and then just make a brief post letting everyone know what it is for and then post us the link. If you want feedback or criticisms let us know in your post.
1. Since when did this become "Showcase your works"? There are plenty of threads for that, and if there are none of your liking, make your own. That way people will actually, idk, comment on your work? Which I assume is the purpose of publishing it on the internet.
2. The ASC was cancelled due to the "If I win, I get MERIT OMGWTF!!" mentality, as well as an utter lack of a judge. It was better to simply remove it, than try to find a new judge, and people needed the break, considering the mentality and quality of some of the works/the responses to some of the judgings. Besides, it needs a new thread. And seeing how many art threads there is about in this forum, there wouldn't be much audience/participants for the contest any more.
At what point would you say a story is getting a bit long, and should be linked to? Also, should I need to post it elsewhere, where could I do so? (This is just text, no images)

Most people don't do this anyway, but basically if you in text form (in the editing programme) have text from the top of the screen to the bottom. Unless you work in notepad, because a full screen of that is basically three pages in word.

Deviant art, paperdemon, most art sides consider fiction art as well.

No matter what, you get 10 replies a page.
A story that is .1megs in one page or non-spam pictures that line one may be considered ridiculous. An example would be the WoM Archive. But at least you have been warned
