My black hair used to curl more, now it's wavy-ish. My hair's pretty long, at neck level. I'll get it cut soon. My hair isn't really smooth and shiny, more coarse.
My hair is curly as hell (when I let it grow out) and used to get caught in things occasionally.
That's the main reason I keep it so short now, other than the fact that it's so hot down here that I'm not going to keep a rug like that on my head in daily 90 degree heat.
A lot of girls did say they wish theirs was like mine though. That just made me laugh, imagining them with a pseudo cho fro.
Well, I some hair over most parts of my body. I think the palms of my hands and the soles of my feet are hairless. By far, it seems to be clustered primarily on the top and back of my head.
The hair is of varying length, depending on how recently it was cut. Each individual hair is extremely thin, perhaps the thickness of spider silk. But combined, the shear volume of my hair manages to complete obscure my scalp. It is of a dark brown color, and is moderately curly. The frequency of my hair cuts (and thus the length of my hair) depends on what sort of social life I will be having. I prefer to keep it "short" (though relatively long compared to other hair, such as that on my forearm). Over the course of a year, I average maybe 4-6 haircuts.
Because hair tends to attract oil and dirt over the course of a day, I have to wash it every morning. This consists of applying two ointments (one of gel like consistency and the other a cream), and then washing said ointments off. I have no idea what these consists of, only that there are not tested on animals. They are apparently designed to make my hair "bouncing", though I have no idea why I would want to bounce anything off of my head.
There is also hair on my face that grows a significant amount every day. This hair is darker and thicker. Due to social customs, I remove this hair every morning with a thin blade.
Black hair, at the moment i have it cut in a short military style, ie short on top, sides even shorter. Had it about shoulder length and dyed brown up until a few weeks ago, but cut it for the summer.
