Heal, there's a difference in advertising. There are those obnoxious advertisments that keeping popping up and refuse to leave you alone until you waste some money. And there are those that have actual purpose. Even though this doesn't really have a purpose since it's to end a "war" between two websites. Buuuut, it's good intentioned so.....+1.

I'm trying to end the flame wars so we won't get any of these topics again. Apperently it's not so easy but surely some will listen and actually see we shouldn't flame each other over and over again.

Then why don't AG community just take initiative and stop flaming Kong, then surely they will get bored of getting no response and piss off too? I don't know anything about it but that seems easy to do surely :S
To be honest I had NO idea there was some flame war going on between Kongregate. Well, I just made an account a week or two ago. I just took a look at a few of their posts; most of them are braindead replies hellbent on loyalty to one site. SRSLY? Where's the maturity and will to try new things.

About that, I quite frankly don't take flame wars too seriously. It's tantamount to a bunch of kids arguing over whose treehouse,parents, whatever are better. I mostly just look through flame wars and have a nice lol. But, yeah, I want them to stop too.
