@PsychoIncarnate - if you run out of abilities to spend on, for Bio there are plenty of passives, for Hydro, you have this section in the middle with healing / Stiff Upper Lip (a good passive), and for Psycho you have some passives and teammate buffers (like Tenacity), and you have Shock Coma, Traumatize (if you didn't have it), and 4 builds to choose from.
In the first stage of the fight (I see you are playing on easy mode), when you disrupt him, he will cast a buff where he recovers focus at the cost of health. He will take about 2000 damage per turn (it's actually just about 5% of his health per turn). After the third time or so he does this, he will change the abilities he uses (he no longer casts Tick Tock) and instead cast shadow abilities like Nightmare, which does lots of damage (~1000 on heroic) and Epiphany (a nasty damage-over-time skill), among others. However, periodically, he will also cast "Holy Scars" on himself, and he will take a ton of damage (10x normal) within a few turns. In this stage of the battle, the goal is to survive, so bring an extra Reform for the fight, and use it on anyone who has less than 60% health. Be more cautious and try not to take risks.
If you can survive the Baron, you are guaranteed a win.
In case this hasn't been mentioned before, I'll give a little run down on sonny 1 classes and ability types that are good for each class.
Destroyer: Quitessential warrior deals with powerful melee attacks. Has good vitality so is easy to keep around. Abilities involving Strength like smash coup de grace and the like are important. Agression helps get the higher damage bonus. Disrupt is good for enemies who like usig and regaining focus. Break is basically necessary, as a Destroyer has a bunch of Vitality, and therefore health, but low speed, meaning they get hit a lot of the time. Using break, enemies lose a turn of attacking you and Veradux has a turn to either heal or do damage. Some Destroyers like to use a healing ability (I think it is called reform). This can be useful as this is a self-healing move, which greatly scales with strength.
Assassin: A "warrior" that deals with high speed bursts of attacks. Basically no magic, like Destroyers. Tons of speed, decent strength, and low vitality. With low vitality many people go for equipment tha give them vitality, this is a huge mistake and is actively counterproductive. Again Assassins deal with SPEED. The speed stat is absolutely necessary, but the strength stat can be useful as well. Any equpment that gives you better physical piercing AND speed is good. Things giving you speed are necessary. Abilities follow closely with Destroyers, except whereas Destroyers might not put much into Master Strike, It is the Ultimate move for Assassins, especially when coupled with aggression. The high speed lets you dodge MOST enemy attacks and hit them basically every time. However, if you are using an Assassin, then teamates either with enough attack power to take out opponents quickly or healers that keep the team alive while you do damage are the way to go.
Could someone give me some information about the 'All Star' achievement? I've just defeated the Mayor on Heroic difficulty with a Psycho and had already done it with Hydrau and Bio (on 2 other slots which are still there) but I didn't get the achievement. Is there another condition like no re-spec or something? Thanks.
Well, I just got the achievement after I won a fight with another class. Problem solved, in a very strange way though: I got the achievement after I defeated the twin guardians in zone 7 with my Bio. Maybe you need to win another fight once you've beaten the mayor with the last of the three classes.
