IF YOU ARE NOT INTO COMPLEX RP'S PLEASE FIND ANOTHER RPG, THANK YOU ^_^ Also, I know its a long introduction, but please just read it all, thank you.

Mmmkay, so, this is my first RPG, but its more of a Text sim, which I haven't seen yet on Armorgames forums yet! So... heres my first shot.

All right, so first you choose your businesses.1 person each business, except for the factories and farms, factories can have a max of 4, farms can have up to 3 people, sorry! These will all start out as a basic business, not a high up, nice, luxury powerhouse. I will explain this later. You can also buy another business of any category that could help your other businesses in any way, or just another way to keep up with expenses of businesses, with another business in need.

Expenses

you have to pay expenses (employee wages, Business bills, random acts I will post for your businesses, Promotions, Etc.) In order for your Business to suceed, or to become a major flop.

Employee Management

You also will have to train your employees by what your business's standards are. I mean, you want good quality products for the citizens right? I will also be giving a small resume for when 'eople' Apply for your business. If you like what I give you, then accept. If not, then you will be one person shorter, and will have to put up with more work. Another thing about employees: If you do have employees that seem to have a bad rep, they may react in how I describe their personalites, and it may not help your business out well. It also could skyrocket income, publicity, or productivity of your business too. So choose wisely! Also, the resume will include their schooling (Ex. High School Diploma, College Diploma: 1 year, 2 year, 3 etc.) So whatever your business needs for handling, its all up to you.

Attitude towards NPC's/Interaction

Your actions with people that you socialize with in-game (Mainly NPC customers, contractors, or suppliers) will have an effect by what happens also.

Your equipment in your business will also differ. Low cost appliances and objects will mean it will always need maitenance, or may not even function properly. High costing equipment will run smoothly and raise productivity highly.

Expanding of your business

Your business starts out as a small 'Hole in the wall' As many people call it. Its up to you to clean it up at the start to be able to even run it and have it functioning. Later on, you can purchase a construction crew, or if you have enough employees, to help you renovate the area to where the Amount of equipment you can have in your work space can increase, give you a working quarters (because you need some private space to manage your ever so great business... right?). But don't expect to gain income while you are renovating, because people are surely not going to come to sit down and eat, or work at your business with the pretty much dangerous setting, So you may want to have quite a bit saved up for that too.

Businesses
------------------------------------------------------------
1. Bakeries $50,000 for purchase, start off with bread as basic recipe, and one baker, (you) $30,000 loan to pay off in 1 game year, and a basic oven. No decorations or foliage.

2. Restauraunt $100,000 to purchase, Price varies on building one. (Choose either: Asian: Starts off with Chicken with fried rice as main course, Broth soup and salad as appetizer, hot tea and soft drinks for drinks, 1 employee (you), $30,000 Loan to pay off in 1 Game year, Seating for 25 people, and a basic Hibachi Grill. No decorations or foliage.

Steakhouse $100,000 to purchase: Steak as main course, Yeast rolls or salad for appetizer, soft drinks for beverages, 1 Employee (you), $30,000 loan to pay off in one game year, Seating for 30 people, and a basic grill. No decorations or foliage.

Seafood only$100,000 to purchase: Choose any type of large fish, too many to post in one post, as your main course, A skewer of 5 grilled shrimp and bread as your appetizer, soft drinks for beverages, 1 employee (you), a basic grill, and a $30,000 loan to pay off in 1 game year, No decorations or foliage.

3. Pizza Parlor $75,000 to purchase Basic cheese pizza as main course, no dessert, Soft drinks as beverage, Basic grill, A basic pizza heater (to preserve the pizza until the customer gets there), No decor or foliage, 1 Employee (you), and a $30,000 Loan to pay off in 1 game year.

4. Factory/Plant $450,000 to purchase

A. Food Processing Plant:

This is where the farmers send their slaughtered livestock, vegetables, fruit, and other edible products. Their job is to sterilize the food to make it edible and up to standards, package the food, and ship it off to the restauraunts, bakeries, and the prison, to make great meals that the citizens can enjoy.

Begins with 8 Employees (including you), 1 slow conveyor belt, 1 packaging machine, 1 truck, and 1 sterilizer, and one storage room, capable to hold 1000 units of packaging. There is a $350,000 Loan that is due in 2 1/2 game years.

B. Metal construction factory, $450,000 to purchase

This Factory is the most dangerous, but can be the most important at times in construction, supplying everyone with metal beams, nails, screws, and other shiny objects! This business creates its own products, unlike the food processing plant, but you will need to purchase some type of minerals from someone... won't you?

You start off with 9 employees (including you), 5 sets of welding equipment, 1 slow conveyor belt, 10,000 units of steel, and two storerooms (one for finished products, the other for raw minerals) Product Storage: 1000 units, Raw material storage: 50,000 units.

5. Farms $10,000 to purchase

These are well... the base of civilization. They create food: Vegetables, Fruit, Animals, and Wheat can all become grown here, and sold off to the other business for profit.

You start off with 1 Employee (you), 200 acres of land, 3 small stables to keep your animals in securely, a hoe (the tool), a shovel, a rake,50 seed packets of tomatoes, 25 packets of corn, 20 packets of corn,10 packets of squash, and your house. You have a $3,00 loan for animals that needs to be paid off in 1 game year.

6. a Prison Only 1 prison in game

It may not seem like a business, but being the warden of a prison is a massive job to take responsibilty of. You must control the whole prison with an iron fist, or the government will put you in one of your own jail cells themselves. So... no worries?

You start off with 50 employees (you, 29 guards, 10 accountants, 5 cafeteria workers, 5 rehabilitation profesionalls),70 Basic single bed jail cells, 10 low-security prisoners (the higher risk, the more paid on release.), No recreation centers, 5 rehabilitation facilities, 1 small visitation room seating 10 prisoners, 29 sets of riot equipment, 49 staff quarters with only a bed.

You order the computers, and have them shipped as soon as possible. Afterwards, you get a email from a random username. You click on it and begin to read.

[i]Dear Prison Warden,

Hi, My name is Alice Schwartz. And I am replying to your want-ad for a volunteer in the rehabilitation facility. I just finished High School with high honors, and I could be considered.. a very social person. My dad was once a prisoner, so I have had experience in knowing what a prisoner's mind is like. I would like to become a psycholigist or around that field when I graduate college. I hope that this short summary could at least be enough to consider allowing me to volunteer at your prison.

Sincerely,
Alice Schwartz[i]

Well, that was quite rapid, wasn't it? Anyways, are you going to hire her, or not?

Your cookbooks have arrived, and the recreation center is complete. You should also be doing something about that also!

They happily finish off the pizza, and then ask for their check. You hurry off to the counter, and print off their receipt: $50

They pay for it happily, and then leave. Under the receipt you see a $150 Bill hiding underneath. What a great tip! You clean off the table and trash the uneaten pieces of pizza, and then store the money inside the register.

An hour later, a huge group of people, around 15, march towards your doors, all looking starved. What to do now?

Greet them all in ASAP, take orders (surprisingly they all choose cheese pizza xD) and serve the heated pizzas first then prepare any extra pizzas required.

I will not hire her. She is obviously a liar, and I'm not interested in hiring liars. Someone who graduated high school with honors would not be making such rudimentary grammatical mistakes.
And if it was legit and that was just because you were rushed and don't have spellcheck...sawwy.

I'll tell all the prisoners about the rec center and new food but also stress the regulations on them. Hopefully this will get them to stop misbehaving.

You quickly seat the people in a group, scooting around tables and chairs accordingly. After you take their orders, you sprint into the kitchen and make 8 pizzas. (-8 Blocks of cheese and Dough) you quickly take the uncooked pizzas and set them in the oven and then serve soft drinks to the 22 people. You have a feeling this is going to be a great night!

You begin to prepare 3 extra pizzas in case they ask for more. (-3 Cheese and Dough) and have them on the counter, seeing as your max oven space is full. You peer over and quietly listen to their conversation,

"Man, I hope Greg and Lucinda were right about this place... it looks pretty dumpy,".

What to do now?

Your guards escort the prisoners out of their cells, after you giving a long and strict lecture over the prison's rules... again. They pay attention, knowing that they can go to the rec room possibly with good behavior.

You also tell them about the improved cooking that your ladies have been whipping up with their new cookbooks, and it seems to lighten up the prisoners.

But.. one problem seems to come to mind. You don't have any priests or any holy figures to preach in the chapel! Seek into that if you could soon.. otherwise, the chapel is closed until you find one.

But, this prison is yours. What to do now?

Sometimes times like these beg you for more employees, but still, you have to take this matter into your hands. You quickly take the pizzas out of the oven and carry them out swiftly. You place them onto the huge combined group of tables that make this mass money pit. Suddenly, the civillians of the town chow down into your pizza. Wow... these people are starving.

Afterwards, they seem to STILL full. Uhm.. these people shouldn't be human. But.. a customer is always right! You hurry and put the three other pizzas you had set out into the oven.

Any way to entertain while they bake?

You call around the local churches, and hire 3 priests: 1 for a morning service, 1 for a afternoon service, and 1 for an evening service.

It's now Evening at your prison. What now?

You head into the cafeteria, where you see the prisoners, and guards, getting their meals. The guards sit off in another table. You head over there and sit beside one of them.

"Hey guys, hows the gang activity now that we have the rec-room opened up?"

"Well sir, reports and inside sources indicate that one gang has disbanded: The Gorillas, I think."

"All right, well I guess thats a good start. What do you think we should put into plan now?"

"If we take away the rec room privileges of the gangs still here, they'll probably just keep doing their gang thing because they aren't getting their exercise."
"So then what do you suggest?"
"Well sir, I'm suggesting a bit of an ultimatum. Make them choose between the rec room, and their gang activity. Let them know that we're aware of what they're doing, and that they have to end it, now, or they will be harshly punished."

"Yes sir!" Your guards yell out.

They walk over to te prisoners once they have finished their dinner. they then strictly enforce your plan, and the prisoners. One of the buff prisoners, possibly the leader of the shield gang, Walks up to one of your guards, and quickly slams him into a wall. the other prisoners begin to mob around him, screaming loudly.

What to do now?
