i don't really want fallout new Vegas, i was disappointed with fallout 3 and now theres a new one, i felt left shot content while playing fallout 3 and i was hoping for an amazing game (i play Oblivion, Morrowind, Daggerfall, Arena) done take this wrong i thought fallout 3 was OK but could have been MUCH better if they took a little more time at making the game and adding more side things to do...
Fallout 3 has like 300+ side quests about 400+ with expansion pack.
Im looking forward to the music.I hope New Vegas will have more 40s music. Also im looking forward to hard core mode.In fallout 3 I always kept some mirlurk cakes and nuka cola at ALL times.
I'm just looking forward to the single player game... I personally think that if New Vegas has an online multiplayer that its going to suck... Its meant to be a single player game, and it should stay that way.

A Fallout MMO is in the work at the moment. I'm not sure how multiplayer will work exactly, considering Fallout's quests normally follow pretty non-linear quests, with lots of paths to choose from and a invisible morality compass creating the consequences of your decisions. I've never seen an MMO manage multi-pathed quests.
A group of modders did once make Oblivion multiplayer. It was a mod (that you can still download from TesNexus as far as I know) that allowed four player co-op in Cyrodiil. I never got it up and running but someone I know said it was enjoyable. That is of course, with no modifications to the gameplay itself. If the developers are focussing on a purely MMO game, there will probably be tweaks in the gameplay.
there is no new vegas multiplayer!!! where is everyone hearing this
No one said there was. They were saying why Vegas should/shouldn't have multiplayer.
Dead Rising 2 is a good, comical game but they're completely different. Fallout relies on an immersive story and atmospheric environments to really get you engrossed whereas Dead Rising is more of a slap-stick for you and your mates to laugh at when a zombie gets beaten away by an umbrella.
I'm hoping for a bizarre boss battle like the previous games in the series (Fallout 1 & 2)
Fallout 1 you went up against The Master, the mutant leader equipped with more than enough mini-guns to literally rip you to shreds. But you won't see those before a creepy conversation I know that I will never forget.
The final boss for the second game was none other than a huge Enclave monster named Frank Horrigan. Through the course of the game you run into Frank displaying some major power and no mercy (Punching a deathclaw to pieces for one). Almost double the size of a super mutant this was one guy to watch out for.
With enough luck, the game designers of New Vegas will look at those two badass bosses in the past and make something that'll surpass my expectations of what makes a boss interesting, as well as deadly.
well if you think about it, there were bosses on fallout 3. they just werent crazy. but i no what you mean, they were pretty awesome. for some strange reason i think they will make bosses like this as easter eggs.
I played Oblivion on the PC till my eyes bled and Fallout 3 on the Xbox till my thumbs locked up I, New Vegas honestly looks like a lot more of the same Bethesda game I've been playing for years now. In some ways it looks like a step back toward Oblivion, which came well before Fallout 3.
I'm sure I'll check it out but I'm not going to be falling all over myself for it.
i just got new vegas today, in the space of like 2 hours its froze like 4 times, im just wondering is this happening to everyone or is it just my copy
i thought i could also review it while im here but there may also be *SPOILERS* so dont shout or anything
so far im loving it, the new repretation system is really good, know one action can affect the game in so many ways, for example the first side quest you are most likely to do is in goodsprings, its about saving or killing a guy called Ringo. Me being the good guy i chose to save him and the consequences were that goodsprings loved me, but the gang i sided against hated me. the next side quest i came across was were i had to pick a sherif for a city (forgot the name) and i could chose a NCR representitive or a former sherif from the game i just p*ssed of. i really only had one choice. but thats the beauty, i can do so much more than last time.
is these glitches are permenant then its a lot worse than fallout 3, every 30-45 mins i have to save because it freezes, it stupid.
graphically no different, but the way these glitches are going, im glad.
the story is a lot better, though im not that far, its just good how the side quests join onto everthing.
my second favourite new feature is modding my weapons. ive turned my pistol into 3-4 shot kills, and my rifle into a sniper. its awesome to know that every gun can be modded in loads of ways.
overall better than last time if you can handle the glitches, i can for now, but i hope they fix it soon

Gamebryo graphics engine, awful piece of technology. It's been in the Fallout line since 3 and was also used in Oblivion, it's notorious for crashing and there have been myriad reports of New Vegas being an extremely glitchy game right down to the programming.
It's not just you.

That is not new. Fallout 3 featured an alignment system where you could go from downright vile to amazingly angelic. Your moral compass dictated your dialogue and other peoples attitudes towards you. Fallout 3 did it!

The graphics are no different because it's using Gamebryo!

That was also in Fallout 3 but it required a mod. I had a shotgun with a sniper scope (because I thought it would be fun!) and a laser sight. Excellent little mod, Obsidian must've taken a leaf out the modding community's book.
