i would pic ak because the M16 is alot more expensive and fragile, the ak can get run over, splashed on, and hit hard and is still usable, add me if you agree
M-16 or AK-47 ? well if you dont mean M4A1 vs Ak-108 (new versions) I would go with AK no doubt cause first of all it doesen't jam it's lighter and hard to overheat as for the original M-16 it really sucked mud/sand make it jam after just few shots it's barrel is too long it's made of many metalic parts making it heavy .. Well that's what I think ..
Kalashnikov for sure, its russian, awesome, fire rate is higher, damage is higher, and the M16 is for skilless noobs
Yeah sure... i've stopped using it in favor of the MPL, but it still is an absolutely superb gun. You can say it is for noobs, but most 'noobs' have to use it because it is the starting assault rifle, and the only half-decent weapon for the first 15 levels or so.
And if it's russian, what does that have to do with anything?

Basic laws of supply and demand, the Soviet Union flooded the market with so many AK's that the price had to drop down so far, the superb performance and very cheap price making it the perfect gun for militia/insurgent groups. there's something like......250,000+ AK-47's out there right now.
If in a game, it all has to do with who programmed the game and which they made better. In real life, the early versions of the M16 were unreliable and hated by its users. It will forever have a bad reputation for that. There are many of accounts of soldiers during the Vietnam War that would throw down their M16s and take an enemy's AK47. AK47s work in any condition, are completely reliable, and are very cheap. They do have and incredible amount of kick-back and are inaccurate are long ranges. Personally, I would go for the AK47 any day.
