I just about ran out of money in runescape- cuz im a mage and runes cost alot of money. i dont want to runecraft, and i really need a good idea or somthing to get me like 100k or somthing
Ah i used to be a RuneScape addict... heres the best way to make some money as a member/non member (its easier as a member cuz some banks are closer to furnaces). Buy 2k coal and 500 mithril ore. Then, you go to a furnace thts close to a bank and just keep on making Mithril ore. if you want to make even more money, mine the coal and just buy mithril ore. You can probly make 50k an hour. I have many other ways that i used to make my money but i cant seem to remember them... if i think of another way ill post it. If this doesnt work for you just go to google and type in RuneScape Wiki. Be patient and try to find buyers for the top prices, you have bank space for storage.
As for making money in general, any skill will give you it, it just depends on what you like to do. If you're a high level and a mem, kill high level monsters for rare drops, or you can just Woodcut, mine, or merchant. Also, if you want a lot of free easy money as a mem, make sure to do the Miscellania/Etcetera quests, once you've done that it's 300+k a day with you just going, catch a few fish/cut down a tree or two, and you just go sell what they collect.
Now there is the Grand Exchange north of Varrock for all players: go near a bank where there are users that burn hundreds of logs. Take ashes and sell them for 90 gp. You can also sell everithing in GE because the price are very high.
Yes they got rid of the tutorial island and the "subsitute" isn't very good. It doesn't tell you what to do and the basics like a good tutorial but it's a quest where a knight tell you what to do and you learn only how to wield weapon and attack. The last tutorial was better. Instead of the island there is a man in Lumbrige that tell you the things.
First of all I used to be addicted to runescape, and played for 2 years or so so i know alot about it.
I'm just glad they got rid of Tutorial Island, that was horrible.
=( i loved Tutorial Island it actually taught you stuff unlike the new turorial.
anyway, when i used to play I used to go law running which got you heaps of money but since jagex ruined that (and proper pk'ing which is the main reason i quit) I just farmed hill giants, there's a safe spot near the end of the cave where they can't hit you and you can hit them. Then just sell the big bones and limpwurt roots for money.
