If Bigfoot was an actual existing species, there would have to be males and females, quite a lot of them. If not, it doesn't exist and so why bothering about it's gender?

Why don't you ask this in the bigfoot thread instead of making a useless thread?

There has to be male and female Bigfoot for them to reproduce. Otherwise if there was just one he would die. Unless he could lay eggs or something, but as he is described he is human like, but much larger and harrier. So there has to be some kind of population of Bigfoot that reproduce and grow like how we do, but they have a different more barbaric society.

Just btw, birds lay eggs and still need males and females :P
Parthenogenesis could be a reason for an all-female species, though it is not known of any primates and rare to non-existent in most other vertebrae, so I think this is even less probable than anything else.

Maybe Bigfoot is a shemale? haha:P

Bigfoot sounds really like a male to me. Don't know but i just have the feeling that if there is a bigfoot, he is a male.

I agree with you, Hahiha. if there was one of one gender (1 guy), then we would have stopped seeing it a long time ago. remember: APES LIVE QUICKER LIVES THAN PEOPLE!!!

He's not an ape he's big foot silly.
males have bigger feet then females. Big foot has bigger feet then the average female there for big foot is a male.

Well, bare with me here. I'm not entirely opposed to the idea that bigfoot may be an actual living creature, although I'm definitely not a believer.

When our human ancestors crossed the land bridge across the Bering Strait it's only logical that other animals followed, so what if one was Gigantopithecus? This could easily explain how the Ape got to North America, but obviously there are more questions, so look here.

To answer the OP Bigfoot(feet?) would be an entire specious.

They maybe could all be one gender since I think there is a term for reproducing without a mate.

I don't believe any primates are asexual so I highly doubt that.

Well, you know Bigfoot may be very well different from others... Since we don't even have a lot of information about it.

True, primates are not asexual, but what IF Bigfoot is? I'm not saying so, but we hardly know anything about "him". We haven't discovered nearly everything in the ocean. With that fact, I'm certain we have yet to discover everything on land. But I also highly doubt Bigfoot is asexual...

It could be, but it makes no evolutionary sense whatsoever and makes no sense based upon our current understanding of primates.
