Me again! Now, here's my strategy for Kino Der Toten...
First off, if there is anyone out there who can get to round 20 or higher with just wall guns, not only are you a tard, but you also have the luck of the irish and the life of a male justin beiber fan.
In other words, the random weapon box is your friend. It requires a little patience, but you are going to want to keep restarting until the box is in the second room at the top of the stairs of the starting room. Now, depending upon the first weapon you get, there are different stategies, but first you need to get through round 1. For every zombie that comes at you, plug six bullets into them and the knife them. This will get you about 190 points per zombie. You're also going to want to get the barrier repair points, which will give you 40 points. If you get a perfect round, you should have between 1600-1700 points, but the goal is 1700 (750 to open the door, 950 to get a random weapon.). By the first minute of round 2, you should have your goal. Now, here are the weapon strategies:
-The ThunderGun: Ooh, unlucky. You're going to have to knife your way throuh round 2 and get another random weapon, so just keep stabbing.
-any of the machine guns(HK21, Commando, Galil, Famas, etc.): shoot 'em once, then stab; simple, right? Get to round 3 or 4, then go to the next room. Later on, focus on headshots, as they nail you 100 points each.
-the dual pistols: you just got yourself a weapon! now, shoot 'em once, just like with the machine guns, and stab, but later on, just shoot them.
-Explosive weapons(crossbow and MK72 Law): unlucky... see thundergun.
-The monkey bomb(Ze amazing monkey of powaAA!!!): this is a lifesaver. It attracts zombies and then blows up. hold on to this little gem, 'cuz when there are a dozen berserkers and crawlers following you, this little thing will wipe them all out.
-Shotguns(HS10, SPAS 12): these are quite possibly the best guns in the game. Pack-a-punched they will kill everything and anything. Just stab through round 2 and then just start pumping the lead.
-the ray gun: this is a decent gun, as it has a fair sized clip as well as a lot of stopping power. hold on to this one, and after stabbing through round 2, just vaporize them all.
Now, once you have your weapon(s), get through the corresponding doors and turn on the power. Here's where the real fun starts. keep walking in the circle you have created, allowing zombies to follow you. if anything gets in your way, you know what to do. Buy a quick revive, just as a precaution, and start saving those points for the jugger-nog. After you've bought the jugger-nog, then it's time for the pack-a-punch machine. Now, I've pack-a-punched a few of them, and here's what I remember:
-The starting pistol --> Mustang and Sally: If you've ever used a quick revive, you should know what these can do.
-SPAS 12 --> SPAZ 24: upraded power, long-distance shells, 24 bullet clip, single-shell full reload, oh hell yes.
-HS10 --> Typhoid and Mary: dual wielded shotguns, double-shell reload.
-HK21 --> H115 Oscillator: increased firepower, ammo capacity and clip.
-Commando & Galil --> I can't remember their names, but both have similar powered up characteristics. More ammo & power.
-Dual wielded pistols --> Calamity and Jane: 20 bullet clip, fully automatic, more ammo.
-Stakeout --> Raid: pretty much the same as the others.
-Olympian --> Hades: Fires incendiary rounds, speed reload, still a 2-bullet clip, though.
-ThunderGun --> Zeus Cannon: the best weapon in the game. Same as the thundergun, it kill everything unfortunate enough to be caught in the blast. Double the ammo and clip size.
-Ray Gun --> Porter's X2 Ray Gun: similar, yet more ammo & power.
Now here's a little tip. when you want to rack up some points in the later rounds, use the teleporter, go to the window, and toss a few grenades at the zombies that congregate at the theater floor. this can get you upwards of 1000 points!
just keep using the above strategies, and you should make it to round 20 or better solo.
