I have a decent strategy for two or three player zombies on Ascension. Stay in the main room til around level 6 or 7. Then open the upstairs door and all the doors leading to the power. Turn the power on, use mystery box, etc. Stay where the power is until the mystery box moves. Follow the mystery box and camp at the nearest lander. When you come close to dying, just take the lander back to the home base and quickly make your way back near the mystery box. You always want to stay near the mystery box just in case you run out of ammo. Try to get an assault rifle and a light machine gun however two light machine guns wont hurt. If you and your partners pack a punch a good weapon, you will make it pretty far by camping the landers. My friend and I made it to level 38 with this strategy. What i did notice is that getting far in the game depends a lot upon your luck of getting good weapons from the mystery box.
I love playing Zombies in Black Ops. In my honest opinion, that's the only reason I got Black Ops. I personally think that playing online got pretty boring really quickly.
The mystery box is NOT your friend! It's like a fickle mistress: it'll give you the time of your life once and then the cold shoulder for a week. **** thing gave me the Dragunov four times in a row, six times total. People I play with laugh at the garbage it gives me...until it doesn't. If you live by the box, you'll likely die by the box too. Using wall weapons, contrary to posted opinion, doesn't make you a "tard." I regularly get into the high teens and beyond with just the MP40 and a Bowie knife. I keep the other slot open for a box pull, but I don't rely on it. Personal best is 32 on Kino with 2 people, although we started with 4 and two ditched at level 8 or 9. Favorite loadout: upgraded HK21 and the Awful Lawton. And try upgrading the LAW...big-time fun!
I use the mystery box ONLY buying wall weapons is stupid. For anyone who got prestige edition and has der riese, it is awesome on black ops. Igot to round 44 with my friend.
You know it isnt hard just play Five on black ops solo and easy get to level 50 how? Just get a ray p a punch get on a table glich tadaa dont lose your ammo just try the unlimited ammo and god mode not so hard. Any questions ask in 24 hours and ill check
for anyone who is the easter egg type and owns ascension, just outside the area with the lander that has flopper next to it, there is a couple road blocks and if you look between the road blocks there is a radio. walk up to it and hit square (ps3), x(xbox360), or f(computer), and you will hear a voice recording. For the funny quote type, when you pack a punch with dempsy on the same map, he will occasionally say "**** i forgot to update my facebook page!

nazi zombies music easter egg time! ok, on 5 you will find red telephones in the power room, start room, and in the pack a punch room, if you walk op to them and hit square (PS3) x(360)or F(computer) you will hear a song. on kino, you will find little rocks in the start room, room connected to the alleyway and the stage, and the dressing room. if you walk up and hit square x or f to these, you will hear a song. on ascension, you will find teddy bears with sickles. also, if you have WaW zombies or the special edition of black ops, you will have natch dur unton. in the help room, there is a radio next to the box. all you have to do is shoot it with a gun (no raygun or flame thrower.) also, i der riese, you will find brains in jars that you have to walk up to and press square x or f on (there are 3) if you find them all you unlock the song.

there is still a colt with riflegrenate launchers when upgraded. Hk= b115 Oscilator Browning = B115 Accelerator You still got the Ray gun, and the MP 40 Stakeout = Raid, 6 bullets in 1 mag, upgraded 10, reloads 2 bullits in one Trench Gun = Gut Shot, 6 bullets in 1 mag, upgraded 10, reloads 2 bullits in one. Only too bad that Smg on the wall get to less ammo, in cod 5 you would buy the typo 100 because it has only 160 bullits spare and now the most guns just have 120 spare, exept for AK74u. Also does that crawler type suck, luckily you doesn't get them in Ascension.
