Hey, I'll be starting to post my new art here. I'm a pixel artist, which means I draw with a 1x1 brush, one pixel at a time. Sorta like lo-fi graphics. Retroooo :3
Random landscape
Logo for friend's band [One On Us]
Character drop a la Miervelles
Silly character mockup a la SuperBrothers
Walk cycle [first attempt]
Treasure Chest Gold

More to come, I'll try my best to update this regularly (few times a week)
Decided to comment here instead of on the profile, as I have little more to add.
I have to say it looks quite well made. Even if the proportions might be incorrect, it does not look like it, and it does not stand out as being erroneous. Your attention to detail is quite good, and while the lack of drop shadows and the like makes it look a little flat compared to the - original, it does not subtract from the work.
Yes, it took me some tries to get the proportions correct-ish. Thanks! The first few edits I made, I had some sort of shadow, but it didn't look right at all, so I tossed it. In the first edits, there was also game previews, but they were not as good as i would've liked. Thanks for your critque Cenere! C:
I could imagine it would look less flattering with the shadows, considering the size of the image, yes, so don't consider it a downside, just an observation. Any time.
Haha, i did answer that, but I don't mind answering again. I would like to help out anyone looking to make some pixel art! I use Gimp, they have their own site, so check it out if you want to download it. There is many more programs made more specifically for pixel art, but I'm just so used to Gimp.
I recommend you go to the new "Artists and Photographers Comp." Not to advertise, because this is solely off the record, but I think you'd be good at it.
