A picture, poem, thought, and dementor all in one!
Famed for a fault Shamed surely of shaken shafts Blamed by blasphemous boasts Damed dearly with dastardly deeds Smashed souls see in sight Silver slits solely promising Happy, healthy lives After an abrupt Loving life layed into lie Anewstart A newstart A new start Thisis This is This is a new start.
Pandemic as it may seem The night sky still gleams After the team Was rejected and deemed Hopeless
What are lights That go bright In the night Do they fight Wielding kites With only slight Being as they plight Or they bite At all in sight With great spite
Just what are Lights?
I just moved some old work here. I didn't like the name of my previous thread, so I made a new one. Please make suggestions, because I love others' input, unlike most people. If you have works that you'd like to share place them here.
As I wander mindlessly through the desert my mind reaches blank phase. At that moment my hope dies, I feel completely isolated from God's love. I turn back to see how the rest of the crew is doing. "Hey, we gotta get outta here, man. We're outta food and water, and I don't think Andrew can make it longer than 10 minutes." Shockingly, all of the men's faces turn to stone as they become isolated in fear. None of them are looking directly at me, but behind me. "Men, what the hell is going on!? I demand you tell me now!" No response. I turn to see what had struck them so hard. Before I hit my half - circle I black out. What started out as a simple expedition in the Sahara desert has turned into a complete and utter nightmare. We were sent out on a simple search and rescue mission to find a small group of natives who worked their way deep into the forsaken wasteland. We got lost as well, and having only enough supplies for 3 hours we were under extreme pressure from the start. 6 hours. We left main camp at 6:00 this morning and were lost by 10:00, with no supplies. In the scorching heat 2 men gave in to dehydration by 11:30, and Andrews was fading fast. Now, as I was ready to commit suicide, I black out.
I awake on a black, rigid table. I scramble to get up to observe my newly discovered surroundings only to find blood spilled upon the floor. My natural instincts immediately activate triggering my adrenaline to push out of my brain and into my muscles. I hop out and off the table and run towards the first worn door I see and I smash through it. I sprint as fast as I can without looking at any of my surrounding world, leaving me completely vulnerable to a bash in the head. I see a shadow move quickly out of nowhere to knock me down on the moldy, deteriorated floor. I get up and I release my pain-induced anger on whatever the mysterious figure could be. It moves to the left and I feel a strong pain shock throughout my chest. I look down seeing red, probably blood, and I collapse. I force myself to stay awake so I can a good luck at my enemy. Before I get a glance at him I feel a tremendous growth of pain in my already wounded chest. I let out a final scream as I feel myself go, yet again, into the darkness.
@CalvinDultrey Thanks! I'll consider that when I create more. @dudguy45 Thanks! After learning how to use the program, it was a cinch. I only spent about a half-hour on each after learning the basics. I really appreciate you providing the program for me on your thread.
Awkward... @Tacky Sorry for not responding, you ninja'd me! Thanks for the compliment, and God's hands only took me a half-hour, after taking the tutorial on the program.
Just so ya all know, I didn't use the program to draw from scratch. I drew the pictures on paper and then scanned them, then I used the program to edit some things.
Man, I didn't answer that question fully. It took 4 hours to draw God's hands and 2 to draw Sound Wave (Blue one). Then a half-hour on the editing software.
Yep, I lied. Lol, I couldn't use my computer yesterday for unreleased reasons. Anyways, here's "Deep Eyes." It took 3.5 hours to draw and 10 minutes to edit. I guess it's alright, but not great.
