i want to get a new horror gam that i might not have heard of because dead space for example is a game i already know of and i would like to get a new horror game a game that actually makes you jump if your playing at nightime or your wearing turtle beaches so list 'em under so i can look them up and play them
Well, Resident Evil 5 is there, not too scary, but still fun, if you can get over a few of the game's nuances.
The two Dead Risings are fun, again, if you can get over a few of their nuances (save often), not necessarily horror, but DR2 gets pretty creepy with the psychopaths.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent can be downloaded off Steam for 10 dollars, it's the scariest thing ever.
I've heard good things about the two Condemned games, and... hm. I think that's it. Survival horror is a bit of a dying genre, and it sucks.
If you're easily creeped out then Bioshock might be considered Horror, given how well it immerses the player, not too mention it's one of the best **** games of all time.

Lolz, but in all seriousness, a high gamerscore may be seen by some as a sign of "achievement whoring", but I find it sends players deeper into their games, with good achievement games, they can explore parts of their game and experiment with the game's engine in ways other never could have imagined.
And on topic, the recently released "Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet" is pretty aesthetically creepy, might be worth a look if you're into darker-themed games.
If you can, try to get Silent Hill 2, it's a great horror game, it's kind of old, but still a great game. I'm not sure if it's for the original xbox, because I have it on PS2 but it is worth to give it a check.

Well theres this "Underground" game that me and my friends played.It's called Area 51.It was so freakin scary. So the story is that at area 51,you have to capture an unknown creature in the compound.But you get seperated from your recon unit and the creature is opening up other creature's cells.You only have a flashlight and it's pitch black.
