Here's a topic to be creative on, come up with a new kind of animal, include what it eats, what would you call it (dosen't have to be latin) and its features.

Okay, so there's this animal right, and it's invisible, but it's not really invisible, it's more like orange, but it looks invisible when you don't look at it, get it? I call it the Scafrethi, from "Scary Freaking Thing", except I don't call it, 'cus it has no phone, you know? Anyways, if it had a phone, it would totally get a touch phone, 'cus it has four arms, legs not included, because it doesn't have legs, so technically it has two arms and two legs, except the legs are arms which it walks on, like legs, you see? Also, it likes raspberries.

Anyway, here's my submission!

Name: Drog

Physical Description: The Drog is a large three horned deer, two where they would ordinarily be on an ordinary deer, and one razor-sharp foot long spike on its nose. Its coat varies over its age; it being born having no fur, and when it grows it will have a light brown coat. When it is nearly fully grown it will also get white spots. It, when it grows old, it will all turn grey. It is large, about the size of a moose.

Attutude: The male Drog is very territorial, and when its territory or mate is threatened against another Drog, it will have a showdown between the other two. They travel in groups of about fifteen to fifty, to a HUNDRED. It does this for protection, but it doesn't, really, in fact it makes them easier targets for their natural predators: the huge Tiadal wolves. You see, when in a group the Drogs lose their self awarness, and it makes them vulnerable. Though, when the group is threatened, they have a thunderous charge...

Habitat: The Drogs basically dwell in places where they can graze on rich grass. Usually open plains, when in group form, but when alone the Drog will eat plants, having a filter in its body that protects it from the poisons from many plants. It will eat anything from moss to ferns, but its main food source is grass, and when young, it is the only thing it should eat besides its mothers milk.

Extra: The Drogs have close relationships with birds, using them to eat off the bugs in their fur and to warn them of oncoming dangers. In return, the birds get a meal and protection from larger birds such as the Ale Hawk or the Grey Vulture.

Extra2: The Drogs have very primitive type dancing rituals to attract mates. They will, if there are more than one male, battle for the female.

My animal...

Mine is named seasquash
It is almost like a seacumber in its structure and design, but ALOT bigger. It has asexual reproduction, since the are deadly to even each other, it's color looks exactly like the sand and if they migerate to another type of sand, the evolution will eventualy change their skin to that color, the are kept under close survailence though, because they can be as big as a whale, and make themselfs flat (except for their meals inside) and cover a large surface of the ocean floor. They can live in water temperatures from 200c to -200c they can move around in ice by making their bodies heat up and melt through the ice. Their main prey is fish and humans, once anything that looks like food (this is why they can't mate) touches them, they will open a pore in their body and create a suction to suck the prey into the seasquash. They are fire proof, cannot carry an electrical charge, and do not let heat escape except for when they cool their bodies down by having water circulate through them. They are prized by many hunters for their interesting characteristics and are used for insulation for houses and cars. Since they have the habit of eating any living thing near them, they are independent animals.
I probably could come up with more, but I think thats good enough and I might start repeating things.

I moved this, because it was more fitting here. I had not seen your contest either, but seeing this is a bit more free, I think it is alright.
I am however the one to blame about the double-thread, but I think I would be rather rude if I go about locking this after having moved the thread and time having passed.

The cornster might be more widely accepted as food, if you can get past the adorable face and actually kill it off.

I don't know... I haven't eaten anything in a while, so I think I may be able to forget the face, although, what are the whiskers made of (kittensalad pic)? And also are they your ideas, or stuff you got from other places.

New product: Popcornster But I don't get where does it come from? Does it still grow on cobs? And were these made to make vegetarians stop eating veges also?

I think the whiskers are made of hair. After all, that is pretty much the genetic mutation of kittens and salad.
Which also makes me believe cornsters have awesome little cornster lives on cornster cobs before they are harvested as pets and or food.

And these are my ideas. They are twoish years old, and spiked from the fact I liked to use 'kittensalad' as a swear word-slash-randumb word at the time.
The cornster came afterwards for some reason or another, I can't remember.

I should probably have added a long description of them, but I just thought I would add the image to make the post just slightly relate to the topic, and I refuse to go about digging up a shape shifter picture, because they are awesome and mine, and the fakemons are not, well, animals.
So, silly joke ahoy!

What program you used to make them? They look very well done. But I gotta ask, what do they eat?

I think they were done with Easy Paint Tool Sai (or Sai for short)'s vexel function. This being way before I got rel good at using it properly, as well. My newer art is a lot better.
I should however draw a new picture of a kittensalad at some point.

As for what they are eating, well... Happiness, joy and love. And cornsters won't mind some hamster pellets.

So I should kill my hamster, make his meat into little balls, and feed em to cornster? I think that dosen't work well with the theory of never losing or gaining mass, since the kitten's gotta grow, and its gaining the growth from what sciences considers nothing.

Uh, hamster pellets would be the pellets hamsters eat.
And I don't believe in positivism anyway, so if they and their science can live without happiness, joy and love, I am sure there is more to the kittensalads, then~
