i play a proffesionall drum kit because: i dont no! i just like it! i have not bothered with grades as i think they r useless i have been playingsince i was 8 yrs old
description: i play a fender starcaster bass guitar (4-string). Its black, has a white pickguard, and is 19lbs. it came w/ a rumble 15 amp, a vid, a guitar bag, and instructions for the amp.
Pros/cons: the guitar bag is a little too small so some of the top sticks out. the amp doent have distortion. the guitar was worth $225 but the box was damaged and not selling so the price ended up at $105 (w/ tax)!!! the guitar itself has NO probs.
Reason: My friends and i are starting a band and the options for me were bass, drums, or vocals. i might do some vocals still.
My instruments of choice are the flute [my baby] and my baritone saxophone.
Flute- -Description: Average silver flute that I clean way too much. -Why chosen: It was the instrument I started playing in elementary school. And I fell in love with it. :] -Features: None really. -Pros/cons: Pro- it has a really nice sound when you play it WELL. Con- Some of the fingerings can get complicated in the upper register.
Baritone Saxophone: -Description: Large golden saxophone that has definitely seen better days. -Why chosen: My band director asked if I could play it for jazz and concert band. And the low sound is amazing. -Features: Harness that I use during marching season. -Pros/Cons: Pros- Awesome sound, easy to learn, fingerings aren't difficult. Cons- Heavy, even with the harness and padded neck strap it hurts your neck.
Alright-I play trumpet, and I have a guitar. Not much, but I've played trumpet for five years and I'm pretty darn good (not trying to brag). I also have a little brother who plays clarinet and piano, (We own both instruments), my mom has a violin, and she used to have a tenor saxophone. She also sings.
