It seems all of you prefer Sonny 3 or other games like Armor Mayhem, Raze, Kingdom Rush, Sinjid,....I don't see any topics say about colony 2 ideas, as it's a long time ? :-/
Well...if there were...pls show me that topic or "else" post some cool ideas here...

neutral squares don't block your units and you capture them by having units near it


so really u just want everyone to go mass romans in the beginning?

Colony 2 should be better and bigger with every thing it had, like more of every thing;weapons,map,campaign,more online
And new ideas and stuff like new army's and more map places like the desert or on a mountain or on water ...

why would that be?
remember i said this should only get implenmented if maps got bigger, with bigger maps romans usefullness is slightly reduced. air units are also allowed to capture squares so there is no point to go mass romans. besides its all guess work, colony 2 may have completely new buildings and this idea could go perfectly with it or it would ruin it completely... we don't know what colony 2 is gona be like so lets not argue on what might be OP or what might be UP with ideas.

Be able to upgrade units
Have a hero that life and attack depends on your stats
SWAT team members. Mod marines which can be bought for 5 influence

Why? This would make it where higher ranked people will have a HUGE Advantage.

Romans are the fastest early game ground unit. Of course they would be used to capture these neutral buildings that act like bases. make 1 roman and send it and kill all the scouts they can make. And with a bigger map it would destroy the point of all the units... each unit has a specific speed as to how fast it can get to the other side, which allows the opponent to be able to defend it. If the map gets any bigger you could beat a mass chronite tank army just by teching up and getting a queen without any harm done to your base.

chess we arent talking about colony here we are talking about colony 2. you don't honestly expect to see the exact same units with the exact same stats or the exact same gamelay do u?
I will never suggest nuetral squares for colony 1 because i know it would ruin the balance. Also u seemed to miss the BIGGER map suggestion i made--->
O x x x x x x x x O this is how the neutral squares would look, as u can see they get further apart toward the center so even if they roman rush (ENLARGED MAPS) they will get to maybe the first x on ur side. this is no where as bad as a pin wich happens quite often with colony one; they can make a defense base there but you can still build units!!!, unlike the current colony, sniper wars don't result in insta lose and forge can actually pin the post players instead of hanging on till ops...

as for teching up right now (talking about 1v1 NOT 2v2) in colony teching up is not viable at all mass chronite beat tech with enlarged maps they both stand a chance and we might actually see some teir 3 get on the field. besides if they rush queen we can just take their neutral squares and build aa defenses there and they would be in a world of hurt (i think queen range should be reduced so aa sakatas can out range queens).

also as i said, we don't know what colony 2 is going to be like so lets not argue on wether an idea might make something OP or make something UP kk...

heres soem defence structures i thought of we can build on the neutral squares:
long range (not actual name xD): same range as snipers, high damage, low splash, normal attack speed, ground target only... this will give farsnipers a use -_-

aa turrent a-25: air attacks only, fast, low damage, high splash (dealing with mass air units)

aa turrent a-27: air attacks only, slow, high damage, normal splash (dealing with high teir air units)

low range: same range as tanks, slightly slow attack speed(slightly faster then the tank), high splash, slightly low damage (slightly lower damage then tanks)

and chess i think u don't understand what i mean when i talked about base capturing, they don't instantly capture a base, they have to keep units near it for 10~ seconds.

Well, I think that there should be a achievement system(AG3) and like a more detailed level up system... Profile, stats, and achievements all on one page... The players should be rewarded for dedicating their time to Colony 2 and should be able to use some sort of special unit once in a match... Good idea? I think so.

I agree with everything besides the special unit. This will give the higher ranked people a advantage over lower ranked people just cause theyve been playing for longer. And also what happens if a lower rankeds person gets their stats reset? Theyve lost their special unit and all that fancy stuff and we have complaining people on our hands.
