I'm sure this forum is filled with Nintendo fans, so I don't think this console needs any further introduction!
I happen to love this magnificent device, even though I haven't been able to play in a while due to my unfortunate luck with both the Cube itself and the games! But when I did play it, I was really into NFS Underground and Mario Kart Double Dash and I would always beat my friends when they'd play against me... =)
Do you have any interesting Gamecube experiences or memories? A favorite Gamecube game perhaps? This is the place to discuss it!
Ahh yes Nintendo Gamecube... *Nostalgic boner* I really loved the controller and the discs but they can easily be damaged. My favorite game was either Legend of Zelda Wind waker or Super smash brothers melee. Super Smash Brothers Melee was so INTENSE and a lot different from SSBB because in Melee you depend a lot on the aerial attacks and you end up jumping like a Ninja. I really miss the game cube it's an amazing experience in my life.
Wii: SSB brawl *Beats in one day, unlocks everything, no longer fun*
SSBB is fun when you're playing against others, but you're right, there isn't much in terms of single-player gameplay. They spent too much time on the back-story animation! =P

I know, all of my discs had scratches on them within the first few weeks! And then they after a while they stop working altogether!

That's your problem. Only one of my games ever stopped working due to scratches and that was because my dumb siblings slid it around on a wood surface face down whenever they moved it/took it out and put another game in.

They spent far more on single-player content in Brawl than in the first two games, so I don't know what you're talking about here.
The other games they just had the target practice, platforms, and 10 stage fight. In brawl they've got a storyline which takes 4-5 hours to 100% complete and the ability to customize characters inside of the campaign with stickers.
i have my gameube infront of me as we speak although i cant seem to find my good memory card for it with more memory i stil have a basic onewith 2 controllers mine still wrosk its the fact what games do i own that works still?lol. my favorite gamecube game is either luigis mansion or super mario sunshine no matter how looked down upon those 2 games are :P
I still play Melee fairly often, whether it's with someone else or all by my lonesome. Either way, every time I play I discover something new. And I don't want to get rusty.

My siblings had an issue with not putting the games back in the cases, but I wouldn't think that would be quite enough to get them all scratched up in such a short amount of time!

I remember how much of that content was animation rather than actual gameplay... to be honest, I don't think the game would have cost $60 had it not been for all those "movie" segments! =P
But it wouldn't matter anyway, because I wouldn't be going anywhere if I had Gamecube Live.
Perhaps this is why it was never invented.
Lol, I hadn't thought of that! You're right, there would be no further reason to ever stand up again! xD

Al the good games have ben mentioned except Kirby Air Ride! That was one of the few Kirby games that were fun on the Gamecube, and it was right before the quality of Kirby games shot down. Kirby was as big as Mario on the N64 and Gameboy. Now you have to be very careful when you buy a Kirby game because of the slump of quality. Most critics seem to give them 3.5/5 for the most part now.
