The Tardigrade is immense. They are more commonly known as water bears. THey can survive anywhere their is water; on the ocean floor, in polar ice caps, in radioactive springs or in a pond. What is amazing about them is that if their water supply dries up so do they. Theor life processes stop they are idle but still alive. In this state they ar almost indestuctable. They have been cooled to -272 degrees c and resurected and warmed to 151 degees c. THey have been stored in liquid helium for a week and given doses of radiation thousands of time the fatal dose for humans. They have been squashed with pressured 6 times greater than the bottom of the ocean. But with a drop of water they spring back to life. Oh I should mention they are a twentieth of an inch long
Tigers are awesome! Panthers are awesome! Pumas are awesome! Lions are awesome! Cheetahs are awesome! Basically anything that's ferocious and likes to devour flesh.
the rhino isnt totally blind is it? and do you knonw the differences in between the white and black rhino?
The rhino is almost blind And yes i know the differences: Black Rhino (Hooked-lip Rhino)
â¢Smaller than the white rhino. A large bull weighs around 1000 kg. â¢They have a rather small hooked shaped mouth for feeding on trees and shrubs. â¢The black rhinos' natural head posture is face upward, so there is no need for it to lift its' head when feeding off trees. â¢Black rhino are often found in thick vegetation which is possibly the reason why the female will often run in front of her calf to clear a pathway. â¢The black rhino is short tempered and extremely aggressive compared to the white rhino. â¢They are very solitary and seldom join up with other individuals. White Rhino (Broad-mouthed Rhino)
â¢Larger than black rhino. Large bulls reaching weights of 2500 kg. â¢They have a very broad flat mouth which aids in feeding off large quantities of grass. â¢A white rhinos' natural head posture faces downward so its' mouth is always close to the ground while grazing. â¢They have a very distinct hump above the shoulders as well as a very prominent fold of skin at the lower parts of the shoulders. â¢Being a very social animals it is not uncommon to see 10 or 15 white rhinos moving together and sometime more. â¢White rhino are normally found in very open areas such as plains. â¢The calf normally runs in front of its mother, with the mother using her horn to direct the calf by tapping it on the rear.
