Well, i am stuck on a level, it is the first Epic level, you and HAVE to beat it, otherwise you cannot get any further in the game, any suggestions? i look in the strategy guide and i tried most everything in it, but i just cannot seem to beat this darned level...
to those who asked about the first epic. make sure that you focus on expanding your mana to 5-6k (or more if you can, the more you get, the easier it will be later) ASAP. it will give you more funds to get some high lvl gems. make sure you have starter gems maxed, then put points into the first two mana boosters ( you could try armor, but im just saying what i did). try to find a spot where you can get 8-9 towers built closeby each other, with a fairly large range, such as a bend in the road. build towers around here, and make it your "kill zone" work on getting some pure gems of grade 6 (2-3) and then make the rest of your kill zone gems grade 4 (5 if you can) PURES ONLY I STRESS. get 5-6 water traps down in the zone to slow the boss down, and if you have any leftover mana, start saving up for gem bombs. lvl 2-3 will work good, but even grade 1 will help. Hopefully at least one of your lvl 6 gems is a purple (if not, this might fail) they will allow your weaker towers to get more damage in. throw as many bombs out as you can, and you SHOULD kill it on his first lap. I was successful in doing so at lvl 24. If you need to, go back and repeat past levels to get more points.
Again, this worked for ME! your exact combination of gems, and the area at which you place them may cause the boss to slip by. the battle is especially simple if you manage to get two of your lvl 6 gems to be purples. they really get through the armor. there are other methods, such as using armor, and getting 8-12k xp and having the boss do up to 3 laps around your defenses. I think this is more of a waste of time... but if my method doesn't work, you can find that on other strategy guides.
