I recently became interested in drawing and sculpting. I thought I'd share some of my art here. I'd appreciate some advice (I know that I definitely have a problem with my darks. Working on that.) I think I'll start off with a few recent drawings.
The Lady
And
The Gentleman
They're pretty simple characters. I haven't come up with a real story for the yet. But whatever it is, I want it to start off really simple, and get a little bit complex.
Wolfslove
I really hope that I'll eventually be able to make a story, but I'm not sure I have the endurance for that right now. I tried it before but I didn't come close to finishing. So for now I'll post new drawings and see if I can make my way up to that.
Yeah, sometimes I get peculiar dreams as well. When do you think they'll be uploaded?
Heh... it actually sounded pretty normal to me until I wrote it down. There should be sketches of both by tonight. I want to get a basic idea down before I forget.

Can't wait to actually see what they look like. This user likes to see sketches and stories about dreams very much, often because there is some kind of meaning hidden somewhere in it. Aaaand because I thought I was the only one with weird dreams

I wish I had more dreams. They never seem to mean anything to me, but they're really fun. I'd like to write a story for my dream, but I can't remember any exact story. Also I suck at prose. So brief descriptions will have to do.
I lean onto a fence and take in the view. There is a lot of green grass, a wooden bridge over a river, and two fishing poles. A stranger suggests using the poles to catch a bird nearby and I'm happy to join. We quickly decide the easiest way to catch the bird without killing it, is to tie our strings together and lasso the bird. After a few tries we manage to catch the bird and unfortunately, let it slip out of our hands. The bird flies about 157 meters right of the bridge and we race to catch it again.
A giant hairy beast jumps out of the water and over the bridge. I am shocked, but all the stranger can think about is the bird. The beast jumps again and I now recognize it as a buffalo. I say we need to catch it and wrap the line around it's horn. I pull it onto the bridge and when it opens it's mouth I stab it as many times as I can. (At this point I'm naruto for some reason...)
And then I wake up.
Yeah.... I don't want to count the first one as a drawing....
Here's a goose to make up for it.
And now there's too many pictures... okay one more.
I tried to draw this tree but I can't get passed the basics. All the details in the trunk, ridges, ect... I can't figure it out. Help?
Interesting dream. I've had a couple of them in which similar weird things happen. For some reason, I remember most of my dreams pretty well, even after I wake up.
Anyways, I like how you're showing what's going on in the scenes. Especially the strange creature that came out of the water.
The Lady and The Gentleman Pay attention to the shape of face! The Gentleman is pretty good, but The Lady should have different contours. See how it's clear to see that in your next drawing "Wolfslove" The Gentleman reminds me of a character from the game Professor Layton by the way. As for the other drawings,My advice for you is to pay attention to the following things: image geometry, position of things in space, depth(shadows). Do not take my advices wrong,I'm really trying to help. Only the real friend will tell what you're doing wrong. By the way, your drawings are very imaginative, which is a big plus

Ah, yes the sea buffalo. I'm trying to get myself to dream about it again. It's like the dream version of Moby ****.
Most female human beings these days.
Ha, I typed in "selfie" in google as a reference xD. I had tags for it too that didn't come into the picture. Its nice to know the concept is still clear without them.

Ah... Yup, I see it. Her jawline comes down so it looks like she has a big chin. And the straight line also makes it look just a little more masculine. (or maybe that's just me.)

Oh! Yeah I see it.

I definitely have a problem with depth. For some reason I have a problem applying 3 dimensional concepts to my drawings. I'm slowly improving, but my drawings are still pretty 2-d right now.

Of course not. Advice and criticism are welcome
As for sculpture, I think you're doing great.
Thank you. And that reminds me!
I'm currently painting the clay animal sculpture. I finished the chubby lady (who is has kindof transformed into a deity) so pictures of that tomorrow. And I've also been making miniature animals out of a charcoal eraser-but its hard to tell what animal they are since they aren't very detailed.

This censor made me chuckle a little, haha.

If you want to practice shading (depth),I suggest that you practice with apples. Trust me that is the best way.
Cool, I'll see if I can draw a few with hatching, crosshatching, and stippling.
So here's the first one, a dog.
The next will be a cat, a pig, and a pikachu. And then maybe some random objects? I dunno, I'd like any suggestions for things to make. The eraser is really fun to use.
The ant was a little tricky because their legs are really long and thin. That's pretty much impossible with this eraser, so I had to hold it and make sure the legs were okay. But I do like how it came out. It was my first bug.
And here's the cat. Also had a little trouble standing, but I like the way it looked tilted. A little like its stretching or crouching.
I also have a couple drawings, but I'll put them in another post. I think I'm only supposed to have one picture in each anyway >.>
Here's pikachu. This one was interesting because it was really hard to make such a tiny pikachu. So I decided to flatten out the eraser a little to make things easier. The tail especially is very flat. It'll fall off right away without any support.
And here's a pig. I decided to add little eyes and nose. Last time I made a pig people thought it was a dog.
And finally (the inanimate object I was talking about) a mini dagger. I really like this one, and I like it even more because of the way the picture was taken. The lighting just seems perfect to me.
I actually like that pig. Seems piggy. Like all pigs. But this pig is special. If you know what I mean. Because. It's. One. Of. The. Darndest. Pigs. I've. Seen.
I also love the Mini Dagger...I would like to try to stab someone with that...
