I recently became interested in drawing and sculpting. I thought I'd share some of my art here. I'd appreciate some advice (I know that I definitely have a problem with my darks. Working on that.) I think I'll start off with a few recent drawings.
The Lady
And
The Gentleman
They're pretty simple characters. I haven't come up with a real story for the yet. But whatever it is, I want it to start off really simple, and get a little bit complex.
Wolfslove
I really hope that I'll eventually be able to make a story, but I'm not sure I have the endurance for that right now. I tried it before but I didn't come close to finishing. So for now I'll post new drawings and see if I can make my way up to that.
Nice work!Have you tried to color up your ââsculptures?
Thanks. And yes I have! I glazed the clay sculpture with the three different animals. Pictures of that later but... it was my first time glazing... And the glaze paints often come out a little different than expected >.>
Also I recommend you to try working on some details with needles
Hm. I could try that. A little different from what I usually do.
I drew some sketches to show you some tricks with space
Nice. I should start drawing still life's again. I used to draw one everyday in art class. Oh, well I did the apple still life recently. Crosshatching.
I took the crosshatching too far here, so it didn't come out quite as expected. Maybe I should see if I can keep the transitions a little smoother in the next.
I also love the Mini Dagger...I would like to try to stab someone with that...
Ha, it's really fun. And so tiny you can only hold it with two fingers.
Anyways, good work!
Thank you.
And the very very very late drawing. I forgot about, then remembered, drew it, got lazy, and am finally posting it. The alternate (ending? I never really got close to the ending...)
