Before you call on me for misspelling my topic title, that's the point of this thread.
Which do you people use, "color" or "colour"? I've always been used to colour myself, even though it's not the American way to spell the word. It looks more like the sound of the word than color. Color sounds like colon, and that's not very colourful.
I... Tend to vary whether I write the 'u' or not. Mainly because the red line under the word annoys me when I know it's not wrong... But yeah. Colour is a much prettier word than color. Just my opinion. But variation for the win.
And GreatestSoloEver, there is absolutely no reason to mock people because of a tiny typo. Just because someone didn't press down hard enough one single time in a decently long post does not give you a right to behave like that... Why don't you go laugh at some of the people who use 'chatspeak'.
Why does it matter how it's spelled anyways? Ovbiuolsy you olny need the frsit and the lsat ltetres in odrer to see the wolhe wrod. The U in certain words are British and (I think, but not sure) Canadian. Americans do not have the U because we are lazy. 99% of Americans are lazy.
Because it's cooler(i don't know, we just do, why do some people put the chocolate powder of their hot chocolate in first before the water? And others put the water in first?), and if you haven't realized by now...
And it doesn't matter, if that's the truth, then people who put water in before they put the chocolate powder are sinners against the bible as well, as said somewhere in the Bible's How to: Hot Chocolate Glossary =)
I don't understand why you people use colour. Its just weird!
Well if we had lost the Revolutionary war then you'd probably understand. And since the word colour existed long before we mutilated the English language then it's actually the word color that's the weirder way to spell the word.
