First of all, I would like to point out you have no way of knowing I'm not black besides me saying "they" instead of "we" which isn't much to go on.
Second, I would like to say that being black doesn't mean you have been discriminated against or that that discrimination is worse then discrimination against a white person. Do you see any laws against black people marrying each other?
And I'm also going to point out I said nothing about how a black man should feel, only what a black man that had been discriminated against should know.
Not currently, but all black men and woman end up with discrimination, alot more than any white man will deal with, seeing as we are a majority (DUH), there are ALOT more people here that would kill a black man than a white man
Tha majority of white people aren't racist against black people. Those that a black person may meet are probably those in the civilized working class of America. Very few of those people are racist, as far as I know.
they're ancestors didn't exactly have the ability to help them start out, because THEY didn't have money, what with slavery and all.
Did you know that a majority of 500 of the richest people in America are first-generation millionaires? That means that they got their wealth by themselves. black people can do that too. We are all pink on the inside...
, they still aren't at the same level as us, are blamed for almost every crime, are mostly still living in poverty or sub-poverty because they are turned down for jobs more than a white man
I can't exactly say anything here without sounding racist, but, seeing as they are a minority, there will be a lesser chance of a black man to get a job than a white man. if there are 20 people applying for a job and 5 of them are black, then the mathematical probability of a black person being hired is 1:4 compared to the white person having a 3:4 chance.
And with the whole thing about blacks knowing better, i think what he's trying to say is that it would be a bit hypocritical of black people to oppress white people after their struggle
You cant really talk **** about how they felt, because your white. If you went through the same ****, you would be pissed off as hell, and you would want to riot, and if you didnt, your a *****, plain and simple. Also, two rights helps you feel better about a wrong. Thats a right for you.
If you had read my previous statements, you would have known that I am Chinese. My family has lived under the oppression of my own race (Communist Cultural Revolution), something just as insidious as racism was and still is. So yes, I can talk shit about what it feels like to be oppressed. It is much easier to be complacent than to throw away your life; I would not make assumptions so quickly. Again you attempt to put up the straw man of lack of experience.
Two rights may make you feel better about a wrong, but that still does not justify the wrong. You may feel right, but in the end your conscience will still tell you that what you did was wrong.
Exactly...Racism is almost an inherited mindset. It can be extremely subtle if the person in question is not part of an extremist group which openly expresses their anti-minority ideas.
Not nearly the same. Your people havent gone through 500 years of kidnapping to be taken to a new CONTINENT halfway across the world, turned into a slave, beaten, lynched, becoming 3/5th of a person, lynched again, having the KKK burn a cross on your front porch, lynched again, being oppressed even after you are "5/5th" of a person, lynched some more, trialed as a murder although innocent, and all that jazz.
That's right. My people has been through 4000 years of being made slaves, having your whole family massacred for one petty wrong, being forced into labor from the darkness of the morning to the darkness of the night, terrible lashings, castration, and other forms of punishment from corrupt officials, having the British, the French, and the Americans show up at your porch and divide the land that you supposedly owned, being raped, slaughtered, and tortured by the Mongols and the Japanese, being the only people to be explicitly barred from immigrating into a land of "freedom and opportunity," and being treated like 3/5ths of a person by people who claim they are 5/5ths but shared the same blood as you do. Believe me, black people are not the only ones who have experienced serious shit.
Yeah, the history of China and the Asian countries is so undertaught!
The white people here still have no right to talk at all, however.
For the sake of keeping the order, in the interest of freedom of speech and anti-discrimination measures I'm going to have to state categorically that a white person has every right to post here, but no person has the right to make a discriminatory statement.
Yes. White supremacits are very bad. Have anyone of you heard about the Skinheads plotting to kill obama? Well the KKK is still around and i bet that the skinheads were part of the KKK.
