Hey,

I'm fixing up a new version now which I will upload to Dan shortly, then he should be able to update it on the game page. I think it should be up sometime next week.

This isn't a major patch because we're still working on Zone 6, and that won't be ready for a while.

List of changes:

* 'NaN PvP' Bug fixed.
* 'Low Damage Done' Bug fixed.
* 'Increased Damage Taken' Bug fixed.
* Restore is fixed to scale with Strength (instead of Instinct).
* Regulate now destroys 30 Focus, but heals 5/8/11 to you per turn.
* Epiphany cannot be dispelled (YAY for Corruption spam!)
* Slash now stacks a '10% less healing' de-buff on the target.
* Enlightened Helm fixed.
* Flexible Armor fixed.
* White ZPCI Gloves now available in Zone 2 Shop.
* Re-Spec cost reduced by 30%.

----

Now while you're here... Concerning Zone 6 (the bonus Zone) I'd like to know who is in favor of me bringing in some 'impossible bosses' that require you to have a very specific spec and strategy to beat, and who is in favor of having bosses like in Sonny 2, where they are multiple ways to beat them (but less challenging and interesting).

Also, at what level shall I introduce these bosses? I know there are some people who are already level 30... So if I bring in the bosses at level 23 or 24 that might make them too easy. I could just make them scale with your level though...

@kasumi

Unfortunately it is not that easy...

soledit edits the code for any flash program and would allow him to still do it. In addition, the way the code is written, to my understanding, would disallow the game to run on just about anyone because it does not record your stats without equipment, just the status of the character at the time. Krin could fix this, but it would take untold time to edit the code for every single item on the game, so I would just say to get over it...

Hi Thanks for your games

About the next update, I'd go for anything really impossible, like some bosses needing time/thinking to beat. For the levels, 25 or 30 is not really a big difference, and I would even find more interesting to fight 30 bosses when I'm 25

So, I'd say : go for level 30 impossible-to-beat bosses

What I mean is just figure out the minumum/maximum Vitality etc. attainable at each level. Then just add some code that goes something like this (I've no idea how you'd actually program this)

if Sonny_level = 30 and Sonny_power > 500 (or whatever the limit is)
then Sonny.die

Or whatever it would actually be. Or you could just force it to do the NaN focus bug on all their characters if their stats are too high.

Sorry for double post, but I can't edit it >

@Volt

It wouldn't require coding all items, just the PvP mode itself. He just needs to find the combo of items/upgrades that will give the largest amount of Strength etc.
And soledit only edits the .sol save files on your computer.
Alternatively, you could encrypt the .sol files with something entertaining like RSA that no-one would EVER crack.

What is the point in copying hundreds of comments? That's just spam and clogs up the forums. Please stop.

Apart from that, I think it needs some impossible bosses. As I suggested three more zones (zone 8 MUST be at the column of light. It's so much cooler that way ), you could have the level cap raised to 35 at the end of zone 5, 40 at end of 6, 45 at end of 7, and 50 at the end of zone 8.

The bosses should be like Herregods would be without the healing/subversion, because I found Sonny 2 too easy. The only boss I died on was the Baron (because I didn't know the focus trick).

And I like Krin's idea of needing a specific strategy. I think to start with, all the bosses in zone 6/7/8 should go first and use a skill called "Awakening". Basically, it stops them being stunned. Then, if people try to use the shock coma trick, the enemy waits until you use Retrograde and then uses "Mirror", reflecting all the damage onto you AND your teammates, killing you all instantly.

And the training mode needs adjusting so you can choose which stage to replay. It gets tiresome retraining over and over again to get a particular piece of equipment.

I think that you should do what you did with the first Sonny on the bonus zone. I really enjoyed that. I would also like the specific armor for each class thing brought back. That was pretty nifty.

I vote for more challenging bosses inside the bonus zone. Specific spec. That seems like it'd be fun to figure out what strategy to use. A lot of experimenting. I'd also like to be able to build up my teammates as well. So in the next game (If there is one) you might want to consider that.

All in all, fantastic job on both games. I hope three is in the works. I'd love to see how this all pans out. Keep up the good work.
