What is your favorite WWII weapon?

Mine would have to be a KAR98, or an MG42

Does the M2 flamethrower count? If it did, I'd pick that one. Otherwise I'd pick the M1 Garand.

I suppose the M2 flamethrower could count as a WWII weapon.

Thanks to all that have posted so far, quite a few since I last checked

I was quite sure mate that RPG were not used in WWII. M1's are still a great gun, but I like the Kar98 better.

Personally my favorite is the Gewehr 43, I since loved this gun when I first saw it.

I would have to choose the trench shotgun, and the M1. At our school we have a ROTC drill team and have M1 rifles. Their fun to spin and use, even though they dont have a fireing pin. But one thing that does get me with that is most other schools have fake ones that are a whole lot lighter, and easier to spin.

The best gun of WW2 is the STG-44.
First of all, it is the gun that gave the modern day AK-47 its design. In fact, many people don't even realize that.
Second of all, if the German forces would have recieved the design of the STG-44 any earlier than when they did get it, they might of won the great war.
Finally, this gun is one that even American soldiers liked. Stories have been told of American soldiers dropping their M1 Garand or Thompson M1A1 and picking up a STG-44 from other soldiers they have killed.
Overall, it is just a great gun that could have caused us to lose the great war.

Hahah, I'am glad that someone brought up Molotov cocktails, the poor man's bomb. Easy to make, but very destructive and dangerous.

Tokarev SVT-40 was used by Lyudmila Pavlichenko to kill 309 people in WWII a record for a woman.
