Well I don't want any graphic responses, but you know to me it seems like they should be classified as prostitutes. One may say that they aren't because both parties are payed, I think this makes them qualify in the area of double-hookerdom. Anyone else?
I would say no, because pornography and peddling flesh are very different things.
Isn't peddling pornography very similar to peddling flesh? Also, I'm not really talking about the people who direct or produce porn, I'm talking about those doing the acts that make it porn. People paid to have sex, sure, both individuals are paid, but thats what it is isn't it? I mean the fact that it presumably will be distributed to other people isn't the point, those people in the porn are having sex for money.
No, the people who do porn are porn stars. If you pay a pornstar to have sex with you, they probably won't do it. Which brings us to the definition of prostitutes: people who sell their body for money.
Prostitution is also a private service (very private. . .lol) whilkst pornography is considered a public one.
Porn isn't a public service, if it were it would be like PBS, funded by the federal or local governments somehow. Also it would probably be on regluar television as well.
