No, that is ridiculous. You mess up in a plane, you go doun. You mess up in a car, 7 people go down. You mess up in a plane, you have 3,000 feet to catch yourself You mess up in a car well... Your engine fails in a plane, you glide to earth. Your engine fails on earth you crash. Anybody can get a licence, but a pilot's licence takes hours of flight time. In a car, there is no control tower...
Planes are statistically safer, I'd rather drive, or go through smaller terminals, because I hate having to deal with the people and security at Chicago and Atlanta.
You mess up in a plane, you go down, but at least you have time to say your prayers. (but you WILL die at the bottom unless you have an awesome pilot).
You screw up while driving you likely won't die but you have no time to try something to save yourself incase it is a T-bone...
Planes crash far less often because the sky is 3-D, not 2-D like rodes are. That and they have to be tested and the guys that control them are experts.
Cars are run by amateurs (like u and me) and though crash more often, you are less likely to die...
i would think a planes safer because if the engine dies you have to think it out what ur doing put on the mask brace for impact if you land in water then thats pretty bad ur 7/10 chances your gonna die land maybe not because you can breath unless u got jammed into something and you can get outand somone should have a cell phone 911. a car is definitley not as safe espicially thinking about bad drivers and drunk drivers which makes it 5x more dangerous and if you crash in a car your more likely to die.
Anyway, the original post was not very proper, to be polite. If a plane engine fails, it should glide. Then you have to worry about the landing. If a car engine dies, you coast. To be honest, airplanes can be more dangerous than cars. Cars are only more dangerous from a statistical point of view. So statisticly speaking, you are less likely to be involved in an airplane accident than a car accident.
You can walk away from a car collision, but not an airplane collision. Of course, it can be hard to hit anything in the air.
Especially with who's driving. (this was said before) With a plane, you should have someone who is trained, careful, and responsible.
With a car, once you're old enough, almost anybody can get a lisence. That includes high schoolers who practice screeching turns in empty parking lots late at night.
