No, that is ridiculous. You mess up in a plane, you go doun. You mess up in a car, 7 people go down. You mess up in a plane, you have 3,000 feet to catch yourself You mess up in a car well... Your engine fails in a plane, you glide to earth. Your engine fails on earth you crash. Anybody can get a licence, but a pilot's licence takes hours of flight time. In a car, there is no control tower...
so ..... a car is roughly a thousand tims more dangerous then a plane.
Individually speaking, a car alone doesn't have much potential to destroy when compared to a plane. If you compare seperate incidents, planes cause more damage than cars. The overall effect of car accidents combined is much greater than airplane accidents however.
the thing is, plane crashes are very rare, you have a larger chance of getting into an accident then having a plane fall out of the sky.
and if a plane dose fall, the damage can be minimal if it is landed in a open space, LARGE explosions cause by plane crashes havent happened in a while, thanks to the computer insatlled in 1990's that warns you 45 seconds before another plane will collide, well, the pilot anyway.
no its not. but the cars are way more dangerius then planes becouse do you ever here of a pliot flying drunk? i didn't think so but in cars a ton of people do it every day.

planes usually dont eve fly close enough for it to trigger, but if it dose it gives a 80% success rate of avoiding collision, the crashs in "midair" are rare.
I say a plane is more dangerous, plane crashes, hundreds of people die, and if a plane's engine fails, it doesn't glide to earth, it PLUMMETS, if a turbine blows up, it plummets, you mess up in a plane, that one mess up most likely gets you killed, a plane IS more dangerous than a car.
I think so cause well if you get in a car crash you could get hit by more cars depending on where your at but if you in a plane then if you fll out of the sky going 2-300 MPH falling over 3000ft to the ground then yeah a car is safer maybe just because you have a better chance of living in a car accident then a plane crash.
Air travel is very safe. We all think it's dangerous because the media only reports on the crashes and mistakes. In all actuality, there are more car crashes in 1 month than plane crashes in a year. (please correct that stat if I'm wrong.)
