ummm... inflicting a great amount of damage on the opponent if it hits? jiggly is actually my 2nd best character.

Depends my fighting style is very aggressive so I use people who can dish out the damage but are very light. I use Lucas the most, and maybe Peach sometimes. I'm the worst with Bowser, and Ike. Both really slow moving characters that don't move well in air (and that's where I flourish).

Ness has a +1 advantage over Lucas in tournaments, that's an estimated 60% that Ness would win against Lucas with players of the same skill.

Ness has more advantages over other characters than Lucas as well. The only characters Lucas has OVER a 50% chance are Luigi, Ganondorf, and Zelda. Two of which are H tier

Ness is also a higher tier than Lucas.

It doesn't matter how good or bad you are with a character. Two players of equel skill determine how good a character is, not taking random people of different skill levels

i dont think you can determine how good a character is. having the same skill level is almost imposibble espacially since you cant really measure skill. style has alot to do with it and different people have different styles. actually some people have several styles. and a style is sometimes effective against one style and is useless against another. all of this is purely based on playing style and who you like most. then the character that gets the most "love" of people is usually called the best.

Somewhat true, mostly about the different playstyles. I think that most people, however, can agree that meta-knight is going to have a very large advantage over that pink blob of failure. (Except you) There would have to be a large skill difference for Jigglypuff to beat Meta-knight 1v1 on a stable stage with no items.

Well, think of it like Horse racing. The dark horse CAN win, but are you willing to put your money on him?

wait what???

and kasik... it depends in the gamestyle (lol i know its annoying i said that already). but in this case its more of the sub styles. the same characters can be used differently. for example, there are many metaknight players who like to use the spinns alot. jiggly can easiley dodge those and really confuse the metaknight character and do some really high damage while it recovers from spins. i do think that a more defensive metaknight would have a really good chance to defeat the normal jiggly style.

sorry for double forgot to say something.

anyway, the really good players also know how to change their styles when they have to. so in the end you can never really know who wins because even the same character can have different ways to use him

It will have to take a significant skill difference for a jigglypuff player to beat a metaknight player. That, or two people that barely know how to play their characters

Jigglypuff and Meta-knight are the same almost, except, Meta-knight is litterally better in every way. He's faster, stronger, has more reach, better grabs, a better final smash, he can dodge more, fly, his up b is two seperate controlled attacks, he does damage, he has impact moves.

Jigglypuff on the other hand, is slow, easy to knock around, has very short range moves, has multiple moves that leave her open with a small chance of success, has a bad final smash unless under specific circumstances, and has few high impact moves.

As for the seperate play styles...anyone who uses only one in any fight does not play the game well. If you are -only- defensive, it's predictable and very easy to get through, only offensive leaves you open. You have to play many different things at the same time, and be ready to change to something else if they change or it's not working as you thought.

Btw, I am curious how good you are, would you be up for playing over wi-fi sometime bluerabbit?

awww you made me feel bad now . id LOVE to play with you and i DO have wifi. the problem is that im guessing that it will be to laggy to play and actually understand each others skill. i played with huge lagg as lucas... big mistake since you controll his special attacks and pk freeze and espacially thunder were useless... actually with lagg heavy characters have a huge advantage...

we can try though. also i havnt played for more then like 2 years so i dont know how bad i got.
