Finally, I've started to play Colony again. Just won twice in a row. =P
I beat you at that. 9 games won in a row, went up a rank and all on my first go on Colony in months. I was shocked...
It goes bank, forge, make roman and put it on the middle of the map, power generator, solar grid, you already have enough for 2 modified sakatas, start unrallied roman spam, then make 2 mod sakatas, make another power gen and solar grid, and there you have it, an uncounterable build by any early means.
I prefer the slow method of: (Monarchs are so versatile!)

It's slow, but unless you're opponent is super fast, it's hard to beat. I generally make a few units according to what my opponent has made, but you can save up if you want to.
I dont remember the point totals, but basically you get something like 15 points per win, then an additional 15 for each win in a row. You also get 10 points for losing. Each rank takes a certain number of points to achieve. So basically the more games you win in a row, the more you get per game and thus you can reach rank 10 after 62 games if you never lose. It generally takes much longer though bc ppl dont often have that big of win streaks :P.
