This is the most important difference between the armorgames forum and the newgrounds bbs: If it says 'general colony discussion', there's a discussion, and not spam.
Ok, hope i dont annoy here as a newbie; im a fan of colony too, but i know it just since... three weeks? Something like that i guess.
Its great to see how interested the ag community is to discuss colony... 420 pages already, wow!
I stop writing nonsense for now, come to the theme now really: Colony.
i hate
- Idiots
- rank 1 people who won't listen to my superior tactical skill
- Hackers/Cheaters
- Spammers
Idiots are everywhere, but im wondering if you mean weak players or annoying spamers? Both are silly, still i wouldnt call newbies idiots (as long as you can teach them)
Rank 1 people who wont listen are my problem too, my allies dont listen either if i command them since they are rank 1.
Hackers/Cheaters are also stupid, destroying games and win streaks in an unfair way. I hate unfair defeats/wins.
Spammers, those stupid idiots in the chat rooms, also annoying. There should be a harder limit of message bigness and of the intervalls between two messages. Also, these auto-punishments should be harder, instead of '60 seconds no messages' something like '
lay a game to send messages again!'.
Additional things that i hate: Leavers. Like I already said, i hate unfair wins/defeats. Leavers destroy games and win streaks in an unfair way exactly like the hackers. There should be harder punishments for them too (for example -1 rank or so, or colony-ban for some days).
Yeah, guess things that the fans hate are important to tell the game author in a friendly but clear way, with the solutions. Suggestions are maybe even more important. The balance in colony is (nearly) perfect, so why dont expand the elements bigness? One more building (espionage center) and some new units would be really fine (mod gröditz).
Yeah, all in all is colony a horrible good game, not really correctable - just expandable!
Hope I didn't annoy you guys
P.S.: I hope i used the quote function correctly, is it really [qu0te][/qu0te] and not <qu0te></qu0te>?
