So I can't think of too many threads that I have made like this, but I stumbled upon a website that tests your typing speed, and tried it to find that on average I type at about 30 words per minute. So I got curious as to what the typing speed of others on AG is.

So seriously what is your typing speed?

I got 34 first run. Pretty close to my usual estimate of 40.

Of course, I'm odd. I've never actually taken a course in typing. I had to teach myself because I was to clogged up in courses.

At least I have a 97.6% accuracy rate :P

Pretty slow I think.

I think this site is cool.

I got 57 wpm, some crazy guy can have 184 wpm! is he human? more than 3 times of me????

I see all of them who have megaracer title have 99-100 percent of accuracy.

I think accuracy makes your score bigger, or nicer???

I got 53 wpm. I remember the last time I was not under stress. I got around 65 wpm.

Shockingly enough, those people aren't cheaters of some sort. The highest recorded typing speed of a person was somewhere around 220 wpm.

I see all of them who have megaracer title have 99-100 percent of accuracy.


They're like professional typists.

You are very correct. It does make your WPM score higher.

I think my score isn't shabby for one who isn't skilled. I'm not great.

80 wpm. I beat my typing teacher back in junior high lol.

- If you're a court interpreter (noting down everything said in court) you have to have over 120 wpm. Yet again there's only 16 keys lol.

I got a 72wpm and 97% accuracy

But Klaus is right, when are you going to need to type about the ridiculous sentences they give you?

i haven't done that crap since grade school.

maybe 60 now... not great accuracy but i can do 70.

but accuracy doesn't matter, it's typing, it corrects it for you if care enough to program the word processor.
