I have asked the mods permission on this, and I've decided to make a thread about photography. Photography is a form of art, as we all know. Amy pictures you post here must be your own. Either you took the picture, or you modified it.Photo manipulations have to state the source of the manipulated items. After all, even if you put it together, someone took the time to do the base work with the stock photos for you.
The manipulations should also actually differ from the original (taking a photo, putting on two filters and crop it is doing the job wrong)

Remember, this isn't a contest or anything, just a place to post any photography you have done. Please make sure that any pictures you post are, in a way, artsy. Just plain old pictures of your face or anything will be considered spam.


So...have fun. I'll post some pics I've taken later on...I have to find my camera first.

awesome statue and how do you get so close to the butterflys? o.o besides zoom... but you cant get THAT good of a picture using zoom.

You have so many good pictures of butterflies! I rarely see any here, even though we occasionally have tropical climate...

Tis my kitten, Rico, from Puerto Rico. I took the picture with my phone which is why it's not AS great as something with a real camera. I take pics of my cats all the time.

KITTEH! omg i luv kittehs. they are just so adorable. I have a cat named bear. lol. we found him in tenn last year up in the smokie mountains, and a smokie the bear commercial came on and he was pawing at the door. and his paws are HUGE for a adolecent kitty, so Bear it is. it was gonna be smokie, but he responded to bear so the name stayed. I want my camera battery to come in soon!!!!! so I can show you mah awesome kitteh! mwahahahaha '3'

if you want to post a flickr photo .. and be able to see it here you need to go to your photo and press the 'all sizes' button and choose 'medium' then copy the url that finishes with '.jpg' and then you can post it here and see it (:
