Bad Company is just a more polished game all around. The graphics are incredible for the scale of things, the battles feel much more grand and intense at the same time, the sound editing is phenomenal (The subtle differences in the echoes, gunshots, and explosions from distance or being in a building never get old), and the weapons are varied enough that everyone can find a gun that they enjoy without everyone using the same three weapons all the time.
And of course the multiplayer is enhanced by destructible environments. Got a squad camping in a building across from the MCOM? Knock that building down. Did the guy you were chasing just run into a house and you just know he's waiting for you to come through the door after him? Blow a hole in the wall behind him and knife him in the back. I've logged 70 hours in BC2 and I don't see myself ever getting bored. The Battlefield franchise is always one I'm willing to give my money to, because I'll always get more playtime out of it than I thought possible.

It's undeniable both are really strong games. After playing both online for some considerable time, I've come to think of MW2 as more of a twitch shooter while BC2 involves more long-term strategy, teamwork and planning.
In MW2 you can't expect to coordinate your team to lead a tank charge onto an objective point, while in Battlefield you can't expect to run around with a pistol and a knife and get lots of kills.

Errr.... Wrong? I've done it a few times and actually yes, if you do, as you already said, take more time and planning you can get a considerable amount of knives on a small zone where they are holding out
I've always wanted to play Battlefield, I love the thought of destructible environments.
Same, I'm not sure about the range of maps MW2 now has but it doesn't compare to destructible ground brought by Battlefield because there's more freedom and a MUCH MUCH WIDER variety brought in situations.
I really appreciate the small squads of friends you can meet on there, all great people (unlike MW2) that always stick together and are incredibly hard to beat (1 Building + Squad of Friends vs 2 BMPs + 12 men = Slaughter) which just goes to show the amount of teamwork that can be put in. Again, unlike MW2

Yeah, that is true. Occasionally I will bust out the Recon with a Lightweight pack, shotgun and that pistol who's-name-I-can't-think-of that shoots those gigantic bullets and ambush the enemies.

Hehe yeah, I usually equip the G3 though as it has stunning close range damage and better far-range capabilities. And the gun you may be referring to could be one of these: M9-3R Burst MP-443 Magnum M1911 Pistol

attlefield: Bad Company 2, colloquially known as Bad Company 2, is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA Digital Illusions CE and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 systems. It is a part of the Battlefield series and is a direct sequel to 2008's Battlefield: Bad Company. The game was released worldwide in March 2010.
