This game is set in the 1940's, mainly when a lot of dictators were around in the world. So... please use technology that was used in THIS time. Thanks!

Welcome to Dictator RPG, where you become the ruler of a small settlement at the beginning.. that could escalate higher than you could imagine, or become a mass system of poverty.

To begin, Fill out this Character Sheet:

Info:

Mountains would be high up (good protection

Dictator Name:
Bio on how you came to office:
Settlement type: Village
Population: 500
Technology: Bolt-action rifles, Barbed Wire Fencing, Wooden Huts, Basic construction , Tool-Making
Buildings: 250 Huts (2 pop. = 1 Hut.) , Barb-wired perimeter of village, 1 Guard tower
Location of Settlement:
Minerals: None
Food: None
Budget:$500,000

Location of your settlements can be the following:

island- It would mainly be gaining trade by Naval use. May be a good spot for tourism, could be a good defensive use. Would mainly have fishing as a Main Food Source. Small - Medium population.

Mountains - high up (good protection from neighboring Towns/Villages/Cities/Etc.), Great source of minerals for Building, Military, and Trade use. May have harsh weather conditions during winter. and Etc. Small-Large population)

Plains-Flat land, Great for Agriculture, No natural protection. 0-7 mineral sources. Small - Extreme population

Desert- Very hot. Your population has adapted, so no worries there. All sand: No Vegetation. Ok Defense from enemies from the heat. Very Little water from an Oasis far from your settlement. LOTS of oil. 0-5 other Mineral sources Small - Large Population. Also can get cold in the Evening, so raids may come more frequently at that time.

Jungle- Lots of wood around you. Mainly village-sized Settlements around you at the beginning. A river is near you, so a good source of water. A great amount of protection, unless you clear the wood out overtime. Fruit grows out of most of the trees, and you can plant vegetables once you clear out a spot of land. Unknown Mineral sources.

You instruct your builders to start working on expanding your generator to go all around the village, applying electricity to all of the huts. Afterwards, they build the light bulbs your scientists also constructed and hang them in their huts. providing a source of light to see in the dark.

Your search party comes back happy, "Sir, There is a tribe about 5 or 6 miles up ahead of this village. They seem to have more people than us, but only have pitiful clubs and bows, but they also have a great agricultural system." Says the leader of the Party.

Since you have found the Iron mine, you should probably send some miners to pick off the minerals and store them at the village also.

What do you do now?

Hire miners for the mine, and I'll probably need to research mining equipment <_<

Send a diplomatic party to the other tribe.

You send a group of 75 miners down at the mine to begin digging out the tunnel for further excavation.

While they are doing that, your scientists begin finding out a way of chipping off the Iron Ore easily.

You send a small unit of 4 people as diplomats over to the village. you should hear from them soon.

For now, what shall you do?

Suddenly, you hear 2 of your villagers come back. you notice them as the diplomats you had sent to the village. He rapidly explains that the people are nothing but savage barbarians. Your advisor says that you should prepare defenses immediately, they may be attacking with their described attitude against your peoples.

Your scientists break down another rifle, and roast the barrel over a fire. This seems to mold the the barrel into a sharpened, curved blade. You just learned how to Blacksmith! and how to make mining equipment! You send it with your miner as he goes back. He will now mine Iron ore and put it in the middle of your village.. until you build a storage pit or some warehouse.

Well, you have 2 things to focus on now. What to do?

You close your gate into the village, seeing it was linked to the barb wired fencing. You then order 3 men to get up on the guard tower, and keep an eye on the outside of the village.

You then begin handing out rifles to the men, and placing them behind rocks and boulders outside of your village, trying to make sure no people get inside that aren't in your tribe.

You order the women to start preparing construction for the Iron warehouse.

You can see torches coming up ahead later on. What to do now?

Well, you can't make guns right now. You have to invent Machinery, Clockwork, And Gunsmithing To be able to invent at least a flintlock weapon. It's pretty complex.. like Civilization (If you know the game). But for now you can build shortswords If you want to.

You tell your men to hold fire, until you see the whites of their eyes. Your miners are still stuck at the mine, since if they were to move into the barbarain's eyesight.. they would possibly be slaughtered.

You wake up during the hot day in Afghanistan. You roll out of your small hut, and see your villagers still sleeping. Would you like to do any preparations, or wake up your villagers?
